I've been wondering about 14th member of Organization XIII, Xion which apparantly has a Keyblade of her own, the Kingdom Key to be exact.

 

Xemnas said she was a Special Nobody. Is she even a nobody. Is she perhaps something new. At least she has something to do with Sora. Which is implied by this conversation between Namine and Diz:

 

Twilight Town.

In the pod room Sora sleeps.

Namine: If it's connected to another memory, surely she can't endure it

Diz: She?

 

She was found in a Secret Room in Castle Oblivion. Maybe she's a Remnant of Aqua, or perhaps one of the first nobodies, the nobody of Aqua.

 

She somehow seems familiar to Riku when they meet. But Riku thinks her keyblade is a fake. And Riku seems to care about her.

 

Riku defeats Xion, she is fallen over, the keyblade that left her hand disappears.

Xion: You say this keyblade is a fake...? Don't say such a selfish thing!

Xion moves to grab the abandoned keyblade.

Xion: Hyaa--!

Riku avoids her attack and deals a blow to her side.

Xion: Augh...

Riku: Here's some friendly advice, get away from those guy's base immediately

Riku: If you do, you can be together with those two people

Riku starts to walk away.

 

Also this

 

Destiny Islands.

Riku and Xion are talking beside the paopu tree.

Xion: Do you hate me for taking away your friends?

Riku: No... But I'm sad

Xion: I'm sorry, but I can't disappear now

 

Is she connected to both Sora and Kairi? I think not. If anything I think she's only connected to Sora.

 

And this following scene confuses me

 

Castle Oblivion (Destiny Island world)

Roxas: Huh?

Zexion: Surely you knew this would happen

Riku: Why would I know that!?

Riku is standing behind Roxas.

It's very similar to the scene in Chain of memories, except that Roxas is present.

 

Was Roxas present or is this a Illusion created by Zexion before he died.

 

And this sentence has been bothering me.

 

Twilight Town clocktower.

Roxas and Xion are there, she is wearing her hood.

Xion stands up.

Roxas: Huh?

Xion removes her hood, Roxas looks surprised.

Xion: My power, it's going to be fulfilled very soon. Like a vessel overflowing with water, now my memory is full of memories of Roxas. To Roxas... How do I appear now?

 

Is she needed to wake up Sora?

I thought the game was mostly about Roxas's life in the Organization

Yes but that was just a theory i saw on another site. She was found in a secret room in Castle Oblivion which was most likely the Room of Awakening. Which sparked that theory.

 

And remember Xion is the reason why Roxas left the organization.

The Room of Awakening is in Radiant Garden/Hollow Bastion, so that theory is moot.

 

And remember Xion is the reason why Roxas left the organization.

 

Really? I thought it was because he began to question his relationship with Sora?

Okay, Xion is not the reason, let me try that again. Xion is a key character that is important in leading Roxas closer to his decision to leave the Organization

Remember the cutscene before you fight Xigbar? Kairi shows decent usage of her own Keyblade.

But notice that Riku gave her that Keyblade it didn't appear in her hand like it would for a Keybearer.

Has anyone other then me noticed everyone just randomly forgot about Hayner, Pence and Olette after beating KHII?

 

Anyway back on topic, did they ever release why it's still called Org. XIII even after getting a new member? If not, then It probably has something to do with Xion, or Roxas.

It probably has more to do with Xion since Roxas has a tombstone and he was more important to the Org.
