Scrap Iron Scarecrow Debate

Recommended Posts

This is the card I'm talking about:

You may recognize it if you have either bought the Yu-gi-oh 5D Starter Deck, or if you have been in a recent duel against somebody who has used it etc.

What I want to know is,

Is it Good, or is it Bad?

I have heard things like,

'Anything>Scrap Iron Scarecrow (SIS)'

-and-

'Threatening Roar is better.'

Tell me, is SIS a good card or not, I personally think its a super cool card, it has the ability to negate multiple attacks, the only down side is, your opponent knows you have it and where it is once you use it.

It could also depend on Deck Theme, i have an Anti-Tech Deck. Where i use multiple Monster, Spell and Trap Removal cards, (i.e. Trap hole, Magic jammer, sakuretsu). This Deck has served me well, and is great against opponents that rely on summons.

Back to the Card, what do you personally think of it?

If I combine one piece of Exodia with 4 other pieces of Exodia,..

U R SCREWED!

As for the card, Necro Gardna, Magic Cylinder, Dimensional Prison, Mirror Force, Sakuretsu Armor, Chaos Burst, and even Negate Attack are better.

There's a topic in Strategy containing about thirty 2-card attack locks. And they're all terrible.

Dimensional Prison also stops one attack per turn. The removed monster can't attack that turn... or the turn after that... or the turn after that... and so on.

Scrap-Iron Scarecrow is a non-chainable that doesn't generate advantage even when it works. It is ridiculously easy to play around.
