I have Photoshop only because my fiance got it as a student for $300USD, but we use it professionally as graphic designers who occasionally sell work. GIMP is free and can be downloaded through http://www.gimp.org/ Please consider GIMP instead. http://browse.deviantart.com/resources/tutorials/?order=11#order=9&q=gimp has all of the tutorials you could need as well. All Photoshops I had (CS, CS3, CS4) are portable, and they work fine. I never looked for the full version anyway, because of its size that reaches 500 MB.
