A card that bad players are convinced is good because bad players like Jerome McHale take it to SJC. And do pretty well

McHale's Blackest Garden was meh, I can think of many great uses for it, ton, would you like to cover those, after all, most of them come from your deck

Black Garden is just a horrible card in general.

There are better Plant Decks to run than ones that have BG in them..

Black Armed Dragon runs Black Garden without being a plant deck. I like the card personally, its special summoning is a bit limited with multiples of 800. I've found Thunder Dragon and Armed Dragon to be good to revive with it. The attack halving can really slow some decks down since the halving is permant it it makes Judgement Dragon and Dark Armed Dragon easier to deal with.

urrrm botanical lion dosnt gain attack from the tokens unless its flipped' date=' as if you summon it straight out, its hattack is gained then halfed then it dosnt change from there

I was implying that the card itself was flip summoned.

Or, you could always summon Botanical Lion first, then activate BG.

In what way is Black Garden a horrible card? I'm dying to know.

In the way that there's not one deck that is any better by running it. It takes up needed space and misleads new/bad players into thinking it's good.

So you're saying that there aren't any decks that can benefit running a permanent Shrink that clogs your opponent's field?

Lol at Chevalier. (Don't you get tired of being wrong?)

First of all, Black Garden is easy to work around by simply playing Lonefire for Tytaniel / Botanical / Whatever BEFORE YOU ACTIVATE IT.

Obviously, it can be destroyed or removed from the field, but it's not going to be by battle. Your opponent's stuff will be far too small and your stuff will be far too big. Also, good luck managing to get a Tytannial off the field without using targeting Spells/Traps/Monster effects. It's Black Garden that gives her effect any modicum of consistency. It's also Black Garden that keeps her from being easily run over by a Colossal Fighter.

Next, let's not forget that Botanical Lion has 2000 DEF. That's the equivalent of 4000 DEF when Black Garden is on the field. It's not particularly likely that he will be destroyed while still faced down. Yeah, you don' get immediate results, but that's the point of Black Garden decks: The game is slowed down to the point where delays are acceptable.

Now, TeleDAD is the top deck right now. Correct? (If you disagree with me here, than you're not even worth talking to.) TeleDAD brings down 2 things. Synchros, and Dark Armed. It's really a OTK deck at heart, even if it's not specifically designed to kill in one turn with a reliable combo the way...say.... Batterymen or Demise is. Let's just think for a second how much harder it is to go for game when your monsters are all half the size they should be. It's even harder when you consider that your opponent has a field full of tokens that you'll need to get through, as well as likely a monster that's far too big to be attacked over. (At least when compared to the size of your monsters) Oh, and guess what, your field is clogged with tokens too, so you won't be able to summon all the monsters you need to win.

Now, Dark Armed provides a partial out to this, but it can't blow away anything while Tytannial is on the field, because she'll just tribute away the token your opponent got because you summoned Dark Armed in order to negate his effect and destroy him.

Stardust Dragon is a funk of a lot less scary to look at when he's got a measly 1250 ATK. Goyo's close to useless at 1400, etc. Basically, TeleDAD is buttfucked.

Glads are screwed if the only monster they have that can attack over the funking tokens is Laquari. Murmillo's useless if Tytannial's out, and all the tagging is going to be providing plenty of fodder for your opponent's Pollinosis or Tytannial, or even for Valley. Gyzarus targets, so he's funked by Tytannial (Only because of Black Garden, which is all that makes her effect even partially reliable) etc. etc.

Lightsworn are practically the only big deck that aren't absolutely totaled by Black Garden, and even they aren't too bad of a matchup for the plants.

I honestly feel pity for the members of YCM who believe the illusion that they're good and know their Ygos.

Your whole argument is depending on you having BG on your first turn. Which you won't 9/10 times. Black Garden is a bad card that doesn't stand a chance against any Top-Tier decks or any Tier 2 Decks. If it's such pro anti-meta why is it that the only person who runs it is Jerome McHale' date=' the same Jerome McHale who said that Neos Wiseman was good in this Meta and could top a Jump?

Little City >>>>>>>>>>>>> BG Deck

Name any Deck, besides some jank like "Black Garden" control, and I can make a better build w/out it.

THAT!

My assumption that you're horrible was correct.
