The scientist who examined it said it was just a mutant jaguar, and not a new species. He said that to avoid causing panic in the people. Just because something is illegal doesn't make everyone act good. So like if Yeti or Loch Ness was revealed, you'd have a ton of hunters. Â Another aspect ... mass panic. If chupacabra (central and southern america tyoe) or mothman (or any other winged cryptid) was proven ... people would be scared crazy. Â Oh btw, there was a top ten list released a little while ago ... Top 10 things science can't explian. And guess what was #1 ... good ol Bloop. The_Prince_of_Death Posted June 17, 2009 Report Share Posted June 17, 2009 on nessie. nessie must be real or extinct now. there are pics that show parts of nessie but not the head, mainly some of the body/tail. if anyone here has seen the scoobydo lochness monster movie then you will notice the pics (of the body/tail) that they try to show the captain that it is real. those catroon pics were originally in real life and just about exact.
