Mr. Judgment Dragon
Temporal Monsters I have decided to start making Written Cards. Temporal Monsters use Temporal Counters for their effects which lead to summoning a huge monster where counterability can actually balance it. It is an all or nothing card whose effect must be used at the right time in order to work properly. To start with, these are the bigger Monsters in the Temporal Archetype: Dragon of Destiny - Chronos OmegaLIGHTDragon / Effect8 / 3000 / 2800
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by having 5 or more “Temporal” monsters with different names in your Graveyard. During your turn, all monsters you control are unaffected by the effects of Spell Cards. Once per turn, you can conduct your Battle Phase twice. If you activate this effect, you lose the Duel at the End Phase of your turn. Temporal Deity - CandiceLIGHTSpellcaster / Effect6 / 2300 / 800
When this card is Summoned, place 4 Temporal Counters on this card. When this card is Tribute Summoned by Tributing a “Temporal” monster, you can remove 2 Temporal Counters from this card to destroy up to 2 cards on the field. During each of your End Phases, remove 2 Temporal Counters from this card. When there are no Temporal Counters on this card, destroy it. Temporal Dragon - EraldusLIGHTDragon / Effect5 / 1900 / 1600
When this card is Summoned, place 3 Temporal Counters in this card. Increase the ATK of this card by 200 for each Temporal Counter on this card. During each of your End Phases, remove 3 Temporal Counters from this card. When there are no Temporal Counters on this card, destroy it. Temporal Mage - EliseLIGHTSpellcaster / Effect4 / 1600 / 1500
When this card is Summoned, place 4 Temporal Counters on this card. Once per turn, you can remove 1 Temporal Counter from this card to destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. During each of your End Phases, remove 1 Temporal Counter from this card. When there are no Temporal Counters on this card, destroy it. Temporal Summoner - LailahLIGHTSpellcaster / Effect3 / 800 / 800
When this card is Summoned, place 3 Temporal Counters on this card. Once per turn, you can remove 1 Temporal Counter from this card to Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower “Temporal” monster from your Graveyard. During each of your End Phases, remove 2 Temporal Counters from this card. When there are no Temporal Counters on this card, destroy it. There are still more to come. Link to comment
Toffee.
Zim: "Now to unleash Screaming Temporal Doom!" Chronos Omega is awesomeBut the effect seems a bit risky :O Link to comment
Mr. Judgment Dragon
Thanks for commenting. Oh, and updated with another monster. Link to comment
Toffee.
Eraldus is kinda odd, Considering its a lvl5 with 2500ATK, but is destroyed at the end of the turn. Link to comment
Mr. Judgment Dragon
Eraldus is kinda odd' date=' Considering its a lvl5 with 2500ATK, but is destroyed at the end of the turn.[/quote'] So, should it have more ATK in other words? Also. Updated with Lailah. Link to comment
JG.
I like the idea, but the Chronos Omega is almost underpowered, but still ok. Link to comment

Yes. Maybe make it like lose some Life Points or all monster on your side of the field are destroyed or something like that. Link to comment

Yes. Maybe make it like lose some Life Points or all monster on your side of the field are destroyed or something like that. Since most Temporal monsters would usually die at the end of each turn, I doubt the monster destruction effect would be sufficient enough to balance the Double Battle Phase effect. As far as Life Points go, I would have to do some play testing with the Temporal monsters and see what cost would really be enough to balance out the big Dragon. Link to comment
RyanAtlus
Hmmm...their effects which make them destroy themselves actually make them underpowered. There should be a card that chucks a heap of the counters on the field. Link to comment

Umbra
Seems very LS-esque to me. CO=JD, Candice=Celestia, Eraldus=Gragonith, Lailah = Lumina, Elise = Lyla... See what I mean? Link to comment
