But then again, what kind of Root Beer you drink? Barques. And I've tasted others as well, Vanilla flavored soda tastes like Root Beer to my tongue. Pepsi has a horrible super fizzy taste and every time I burp while drinking pepsi, it always goes up my nose. but not with coke. Coke is sweet and is fizzy. I prefer pepsi by a lot, due to the blue style and I prefer its sweetness, (and as I've said before this helps when by some stupid reason it should go flat. Because it's still drinkable). And yeah, the burps can get weird, kinda messing it up. While Coke, burps are straight out regardless of how you drink it. Also, due to Cokes less sweet taste. It blends with other flavors much better. Such is the case with Vanilla Coke, and Cherry Coke. You can actually taste a combination flavor, rather than stages of it. This does not go without saying though. Pepsi has a very sweet taste, and burps really aren't that bad. You still get a nice taste, and many of the nose burps feel great. Also, (haha watch this) Pepsi Blue was a genius in Pepsi design, mainly because it successfully mixed the 2 flavors [Pepsi and Blueberry] without having stages of flavor like all of its other different flavored Pepsi's. Yet despite all of Pepsi's shortcomings, I do prefer it still.Cuz, it's just my soda. Thats not to say that I won't drink Coke. Just given a choice between the 2, Pepsi comes first everytime.
