[Align=center]i haven't had a lot of free time lately, but i have over the past couple of days so i decided to post the last few cards that i made, hoping to make them the basis of a set. i don't know when this thread will be updated, but i hope to at least update periodically with more cards in the set until i reach 50.

So, I've put them in order of how they'll be in the final version:

[spoiler=Effect]

This card can only be Normal Summoned by releasing 3 "Starfighter" Monster. When this card is Normal Summoned place 1 "Deflector Shield Counter" on it. you cannot add more than 4 "Defense Shield Counters" in this way. When your opponent activates 1 Spell Card, place one "Deflector Shield Counter" on this card. At the beginning of each of your Standby Phases, place 1 "Deflector Shield Counter" on this card. Increase the ATK of this card by 100 x the number of "Deflector Shield Counters" on it. When this card would be destroyed you can remove 1 "Deflector Shield Counter" from it instead. When this card becomes the target of you opponent's Spell or Trap Card effect you can decrease the ATK of this card by 500 to negate the effect and destroy the card.

When this card is Normal Summoned you can Special Summon 1 "Starfighter - Support Fighter" from your hand in face-up Attack Position. Increase the ATK of this card by 200 for every "Starfighter" Monster that you control. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, you can pay Life Points equal to 100 x the level of a "Starfighter" Monster you control to increase the ATK of that monster by 100 x its level until the End Phase. When this card is Normal Summoned place 2 "Bombardment Counters" on it. Increase the ATK of this card by 650 for each "Bombardment Counter" on it. Increase the ATK of this card by 100 for every other "Starfighter" Monster that you control. Once per turn you can remove 1 "Bombardment Counter" from this card to destroy 1 face-down Spell or Trap card that your opponent controls. If you control a "Warship" Monster when this monster is destroyed by battle you can pay 800 Life Points to Special Summon 1 "Starfighter - Bomber" from your deck. Treat this Special Summon as a Normal Summon for the purpose of card effects.

If I were to read every single effect, it's like I'm a reading a 15 pg. novel. From the 5 I read, it sounds pretty good, you have an interesting idea. Have some capitalization/ocg errors here and there. Pics are pretty bland, their okay, but they could use some interesting colors.

Overall, 7.5/10.

its tough finding pics that look like what i want them to look like. i wanted to steer away from anything TOO recognizable, like Star Wars, whenever possible.

and as for capitalization/ocg errors, anyone who would point any out would be greatly appreciated. i have very little free time to do it myself right now. there may even be something in it for you...

Well capitalize everything that's either, ATK/DEF/Life Points/Battle Damage/Deck/Tribute/Tributing/Normal Summon/Set/Special Summon/Tribute Summon/Attack Position/Defense Position

I think on most of your cards its "attack position" capitalize both words.

not bad;)7/10 Fighter cards are a bit weak 1000 or 1200 ATK would be eventually good^^the effect of guardian class would be so evenually better:This card can only be Normal Summoned by removing 1 "Starfighter" Monster in your Graveyard from play. When this card is Normal Summoned place 1 "Deflector Shield Counter" on it.Each time you or your opponent activates 1 Spell Card, put 1 Deflector Shield Counter on this card.Increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 200 for every "Deflector Shield Counter" on it.when this card would be destroyed by battle you can remove 1 "Deflector Shield Counter" from it instead.The first time that this card in defense position would be destroyed by battle you can halve its ATK and DEF and change it to attack position and it is not destroyed. If you do, this card cannot be flipped face-down or change its battle position.Your opponent cannot attack other monsters other than this.the ATK of the guardian class make a bit higher^^Otherwise not bad.

actually the spell to add counter thing is pretty good. i wanted to come up with a way for them to rebuild counters without being op'ed in any way. i might steal that one from you ^__^

fighters are weak because they are designed to rely on combos and to only have to stay out long enough to summon a Warship.

thanks, your post actually helped me out a lot.
