:40 is badass. ._.

 

I really' date=' really want the mantis looking Pokemon at 0:23. That thing looks so badass.

 

So far, the only thing that I am dissapointed about the 5th generation that most of the Basic Pokemon look a bit weird rather then cute (seriously, WTF is Munna even supposed to be?) and the triple battles.

 

Otherwise, I'm seriously going to get this. This game looks amazing.

Munna is the Dream Eater Pokemon, but it looks like a funked up pig.

On Japanese forum 2ch' date=' a member has posted an image from a demo of the new games, Pokémon Black & White. This demo was said contained a batch of new Pokémon including the evolutions of the starters in the Pokédex and many more. They have posted a picture of the Pokémon, said to be called Hatooboo (ハトーポー). They also posted an image of another Pokémon, but blanked out the image and the name. We also got a picture of the floor with the demos in, which appears to show several new Pokémon, unfortunately we cannot make any out. We'll bring more as it comes so keep checking back

Edit; It also seems that some magazine images are coming in, possibly from CoroCoro or from a pamphlet. These images don't showcase any new Pokémon but do further show some of the ones revealed over the past few days. They also list possible names for the Pokémon, which aren't 100% confirmed yet.

 

* The green Pokémon with the horned head is said to be called Kibago (キバゴ). Remember, this is not confirmed.

* The green blob Pokémon shown on Oha Suta last week is called Gochiruzeru (ゴチルゼル). Remember, this is not confirmed.

* The gothic Pokémon also show on Oha Suta last week is called Rankurusu (ランクルス). Remember, this is not confirmed.

 

There is also a note from the same person who provided the images that there is an area on the map that is different depending on the version. These areas are Black City (ブラックシティ) and White Fortress (ホワイトフォレトス).

The official site has updated about the Ash's Pikachu WiFi event that we announced last week. This WiFi event, for the Japanese DS games, will allow for the download of a Pikachu based upon Ash's Pikachu and is a tie in for the brand new movie; Phantom Champion Zoroark. As stated before, this Wi-Fi event begins on July 15th 2010, and we now know that it will end August 10th 2010. It is Level 50, with the attacks; Volt Tackle, Iron Tail, Quick Attack & Thunderbolt and holds a Light Ball and appears to be of a Naughty nature. The Event Database has been updated with this Pikachu[/quote']

Awww man! Do we really need another normal/flying Pokemon?

 

I actually would like to see diffirent cave Pokemon.

 

Seriously, I'm getting sick of those funking Geodudes and Zubats. It's have been 4 generations, and they still are the cave dwellers. Generation 4 actually made it worse by making Geodude so common that it's actually becoming more annoying thatn Zubat.

 

We need new generic cave dwellers >:U

Geodude doesn't annoy me that much. Zubat is annoying and Tentacool is possibly the most annoying Pokemon ever.

 

But Geodude, Zubat, Abra, Pikachu (inb4noshit), Tentacool and Machop are like, traditional. They're in every game. :/

 

Tbqh, I would sad if they're not in B&W.

Gardenia, outside of the Old Chateau, said that she'd be in a dilemma if there was a Ghost/Grass Pokemon, because she loves Grass-types but is afraid of Ghost-types.

 

And that green blob of shittiness could pass off as a Ghost/Grass type.

Since the National Dex numbers are known not to end on 0s or 5s (151, 251, 386, 493), I'm thinking maybe around 644 Pokemon total, an increase of 151 from the total Pokemon in DPPtHGSS.

Dark - Sounds regular to me! So does this mean that they are going to be picking certain Pokemon on which can migrate to this far away region? Like a Pal Park (As in older games to new games) As the trade function is not yet completely known?

 

iirc, the trade system is going to be somewhat like the Time Machine in G/S/C.

You can trade normally between Black and White, but they have to do a Time Machine type thing so you don't trade Gen V Pokemon to DPPt.

 

Also, I think you have to have Celebi to access the Time Machine. idr.

The problem is that 5th Gen moves and Pokemon can't be traded over to 4th Gen games, so it might just be one way or they'll be a restriction. A time machine sounds sheet so I hope they don't do that.

I heard a rumour that they'll be 157 more Pokemon. Sounds like a lot but I'd still be happy with it.

Geodude, Pikachu (ofc), Zubat, Machop, Abra and Tentacool are all going to be in the games.

No, you guys don't really get how it works. I don't know the full mechanics, but you can assume.

 

You won't need any sort of WiFi connection, just like you didn't need WiFi for PalPark.

 

There is a teleporter at every WiFi station (newly located in the PokeCenter), and you can teleport one Pokemon at a time from your DPPtHGSS.

 

I'm guessing that in BW, you can stand at the teleporter, talk to it, it'll tell you to power off your DS and insert DPPtHGSS, and you get to choose what Pokemon you want to migrate.

 

But from what Serebii says, it's one at a fucking time. D':
