252 is referring to the EVs' date=' and Ice Punch is most likely an Egg Move or Move Tutor move.

[/quote']

And what is an EV

Effort Value

There kinda hard to explain, but here goes nothing.

When you encounter a wild Pokemon e.g Gardevoir(I doubt you'll find a wild Gardervoir) and you win your Pokemon's Special Attack increases by 3 EVs, for every 4 EVs you earn the actual stat value raises by one.

Oh, that's cool.

*Bump*

On another note, I saw screenshots from the episode where Jasmine returns and battles Flint. I see they applied the remade Jasmine. Nice. The question on my mind is this: tara Sands (Tara Jayne back then) was the voice of Jasmine in the Pokemon Master Quest anime series. For Sinnoh League Champions, will she, as Tara Sands, reprieve the role or will it be passed on to someone else? After all, Miss Sands is now in the cast of Generator Rex as Circe.

So, I'm feeling ballsy today. I'm going to take on Red with a Lv67 Feraligatr, Lv67 Ampharos, Lv66 Dragonite and Lv66 Absol.

Since I am using only four Pokemon, I opted for 66-67 instead of my planned 63-64.

I'm using a LOT of items, though, since I'm about 20 levels underleveled concerning Pikachu, and 15 levels for everything else.

My Dragonite has a pretty weird moveset, but it's pretty competitive. It's DD, Outrage, EQ and Thunderbolt. And it has a Mild nature.

So how'd it go?

After three takes, I finally beat Red. And I used SO MANY ITEMS. I think 10 Hyper Potions, 3 Max Revives and 6 normal Revives. Not to mention I had items on the Pokemon; iirc Yache Berry, Choice Band, Choice Specs and Muscle Band. And it still took me three takes. Venusaur was by far the hardest, because it outsped my Absol (wtf?) and I couldn't hit it with Psycho Cut. So I had to keep switching to let it get some hail damage, and KO with Sucker Punch. The easiest was Charizard. Specs Power Gem from an Ampharos... IT HURTS WHEN IT IS 4X EFFECTIVE!

So, just got my Kanto starter, which turned out to be a Timid Charmander. Atm I'm aiming for a Relaxed Mudkipz. Then, I'll go to Meester Pogeymanz and get my Red Orb, get Groudon, do some trading and cloning, get Rayquaza, and be a happy person.

So, I decided to make something. These are my favorite starters from each gen, and how they rank with the most competitive starter from each gen.

Gen - Dark's Favorite - Most Competitive / Best

I - Charmander - Venusaur

II - Totodile - Typhlosion

III - Torchic - Swampert

IV - Piplup - Infernape

V - Mijumaru - idk yet

The most competitive Pokemon is based on tiers and usage in OU and UU. Not in-game best, as that would almost always be the Fire-type.

That means I am currently zero for four on my competitive nature. D:

And I love how I don't like any Grass-types, and how only one Grass-type is the best of its gen. <3

Started a new file on HG cause I was bored as hell with it. I miss the GB Sounds. D:

Atm I have:

Meganium 34

Golem 27

Togekiss 31

Ampharos 31

Honchcrow 30

Politoad 29

I'm at the Radio Tower right now and I have a horrible feeling I'm really underleveled.

1st Gym is most likely gonna be a rock gym hopefully not why lets see

Gen I: 1st Gym: Rock (brock)

Gen II: 1st Gym flying(only non rock gym to be 1st)

Gen III: 1st Gym rock

Gen IV: 1st Gym rock

serious they love making Rock the 1st gym

Brock is the reason why.

Plus Rock is the best to start out with for new people.

Water and Grass always have advantages over rocks.

Charmander learned Metal Claw

Torchic's evo learned Double Kick

Monferno learned Mach Punch

So you can beat Rock with any starter, really, without a challenge.

Charmander only learned Metal Claw in FR/LG so Brock wasn't impossible. He doesn't learn it in any other game.

In R/B/Y, if you don't have a Butterfree or a high-leveled Mankey, you're screwed.

If I recall correctly, Gen II didn't have a Rock Gym at all. So if Rock is going to be a Gym in Gen V, it's most likely going to be the first one.

For the three starters, I think their finals types will be Grass/Psychic, Fire/Ground and Water/Ice. I don't know why I think that. <_<

Gen II had Brock. iirc, I think Gen II had a Gym for every type.

No, no. Kanto, although part of Gen II, has all the Gen I Gym Leaders. I know what you mean, as GSC had the Rock-gym, but Johto itself did not.

Oh, well then you're correct. Gen II would be the only Gen without a Rock Gym. I really don't want it to be the first Gym again though, I want the Rock Gym to be hard this time. The only time the Rock Gym was ever slightly difficult was in R/B/Y.

I don't know, but I think Rock types won't exactly as the first gym, since it happened 3 times. I think most gyms will involve Ground types because they were never featured in Gym Battles or the Elite Four, only accept for Bertha. The rest would be Poison, Bug, Dark, Fire, Normal, Grass, and Flying types since they haven't been featured.
