Okay, your point is fair. But to make at least somewhat viable, let's amp up the typing. [name here]35 BP (so 70, really), Special Dark (to get neutral or se damage on most CMers)Always gets a critical hit. It's essentially a weaker Dark Pulse that breaks through SpD boosts. <_<

Being able to break your opponents stat up or your stat loss is a cool thing and having a move to take advantage of it would be a nice thing to have. Felix
A critical hit negates any Defense bonuses the target gained. So a +6 Cresselia would still be hit by the full power of the move.

Dark
Sigh, let me explain. If a Pokemon uses 2 Calm Minds, it essentially doubles it's SpD. So, if you hit it with an 80 Base Power move, it will only do half the damage that an 80 Base Power move would do. However, if you use a 40 Base Power move and get a critical hit, you bypass the SpD boosts and are using a 80 Base Power move and doing FULL damage. Dark
No, the game mechanics are not that complicated. Unless you want to get into IVs, and the way they are determined via breeding, the game mechanics are fairly simple. And if you don't know them, Smogon has an entire database of every move in The Game (I lost it) and it shows you the game mechanics associated with it. There is no excuse for messing up thrice in a post (I don't count [3]), especially when any of that information could be easily found.

Flame Dragon
With Salamence getting close to leaving OU lets talk about it. My thoughts: Mence is a beast and this is mostly because of Outrage and Draco. Both of those attacks will put a huge hole, if note kill, the bulk of pokemon in OU. The only pokemon that can really come in on either attack are Steel types, but even then they have problems. No Steel type in the game takes normal damage from both Ground and Fire meaning once they switch in they can easily do to a EQ or Fire Blast. After it gets a kill its easy to switch in a counter. With only a base speed of 100 a fair number of pokemon in the game can out run and kill it with weakness to the all too common Ice and Rock move. Also strong prioity moves like Scizor's BP, or Lucario's Extreme Speed can kill it however both need Sal to have lost a good amount of HP for a good chance at getting a KO. Ice Shard on the other hand can easily remove it from the game. The problem is that few people will leave it in to die and so locking it done becomes a problem. Dark
I used to think it was definitely OU, but now I'm entirely unsure. I don't know how many of you were around Smogon at the time, but Garchomp was just barely passed Uber. JUST BARELY. Salamence is by no means a metagame-killer like Garchomp was. Sure, it sticks a bunch of holes in teams, but it can't do what Garchomp did. And that was fucking destroy you. That, and, Stealth Rock does 25%, no immunity to Sandstorm or Hail (lolhail), LO damage kills it... it can only really switch in a limited amount of times, and considering TTar is so popular, that is less damage it can give. LO is basically suicide. 25% + 12.5% + 10% for switching into SR and attacking, which entails LO and 2 turns of Sandstorm. That's about half (just missing by 2.5%), and a lot of things can take down a 'Mence at "about half". +0 ESpeed, Non-CB Bullet Punch, really any priority. And while Base 100 Speed is fast, there is still stuff that can outspeed it. For the record, I don't believe ScarfRachi dies to a +1 Earthquake, although feel free to prove me wrong. Residual damage kills it, and anything faster buries it under. On the other hand, it has a sole ABSOLUTE counter, and that is Cresselia. It takes nil from Outrage or Draco Meteor, immune to Earthquake, and lol's at Fire Blast or Dragon Claw. It can hit with Ice Beam and setup Reflect. One problem, or two: TYRANITAR AND SCIZOR. As long as they are in the top ten OU Pokemon, Cresselia will not ever be a viable Mence counter. Mence doesn't have a counter outside of revenge killing, which is a scary thought. With Leftovers it losses the LO damage and stops Sandstorm. However the price for more durability is that it losses a fair amount of punch, but IMO running a Dragon Dance set with it covers that loss a little. I'm not good with the damage formula, but I do think Rachi has a chance of living.
Dark
Even with no investment, Rachi is still sitting 341/236 physical defenses, so I'm assuming it can live a +1 se Earthquake. Although Salamence's Attack stat is over 9000, so maybe not. D:

I'm not sure how much other damage they might have taken, but since Sal has 10 base ATK it should have a better lock on it.
