六兆年と一夜物語
Question: How does this deck actually work?
Mr. Judgment Dragon
Question: How does this deck actually work? Simple really. Play Final Countdown and stall until the 10 Turns expire. I reckon this Deck could work better at it though: Monsters: 10 3x Vanity's Fiend3x Thunder Dragon1x Spirit Reaper1x Marshmallon1x Morphing Jar1x Gorz the Emissary of Darkness Spells: 14 3x Final Countdown3x Hand Destruction3x Upstart Goblin3x Messanger of Peace1x Monster Reborn1x Level Limit - Area B Traps: 17 1x Torrential Tribute1x Gravity Bind3x Threatening Roar3x Waboku3x Thunder of Ruler3x Jar of Greed3x Legacy of Yata-Garasu Thunder Dragon is there to regenerate lost advantage from the Hand Destructions that will occur. Gorz is a valuable addition to this Deck because it can act as Stall in a way. It can be used to bluff your opponent and make them hesitant to attack. Vanity's Fiend is basically a Royal Oppression with legs and no cost. Good for this Deck. It kills Special Summons. Jar of Greed and Legacy of Yata-Garasu are draw power (I dont find Reckless Greeds to suitable in here but that's just me). Upstart Goblin is draw power. Your opponent gaining 1000 Life Points shouldn't be an issue here. Threatening Roar, Waboku and Thunder of Ruler are your attack protection. So are Messanger of Peace, Reaper and Marshmallon. RyanAtlus
Thank you Judgement. Maybe Draw Power is what I need. That's why Morph is in.Thunder Dragon, Gorz and Legacy...They're not exactly easy-to-get cards are they?I don't know how you guys play, but here in Belgium, Gladiators are the meta. So no cannot-be-destroyed-by-battle-monsters for me, they're in my side deck to use against Lightsworns.Macro-Grave and Borderline are stalling techniques that fit the Deck Theme, it prevents Glads from Tagging, so Gyzarius is still a problem because of his ability to destroy your cards. So you may be right, and I should do 3 Vanity's. But then, I need Tribute Fodders. Since I need my DD monsters for their Effects, I just Use Soul Exchange. I don't attack anyways...This, in combination with Caius is a nice way to blow up my oppenents monsters. Saku, Tor and Botomless take care of other monsters that can form a problem. Threatening, Swords, LeLiAB and Grab should block my opponent from attacking in the worst situations. And last but not least, Final Countdown is my Victory Condition. Hope I answered your question Destiny.

Hope I answered your question Destiny.[/quote'] Saku and Swords arent exactly the best options in a Deck like this. The Macro thing in your Deck seems like a good idea. But not the way you are doing it. I am normally against Soul Exchange but in a Deck like this it may be acceptable. Maybe go for something like the following: Monsters: 10 3x Vanity's Fiend3x Caius the Shadow Monarch3x D.D. Survivor1x Morphing Jar Spells: 14 3x Dimensional Fissure3x Final Countdown3x Upstart Goblin3x Messanger of Peace1x D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation1x Level Limit - Area B Traps: 17 1x Torrential Tribute1x Gravity Bind3x Threatening Roar3x Waboku3x Thunder of Ruler3x Jar of Greed3x Legacy of Yata-Garasu This is probably more what you are after. I prefer Dimensional Fissures for the reliable Speed as in, can be played immediately. Hand Destruction is probably not a good idea because you will lose hand advantage which is rather important these days. And as far as Spells and Traps being unharmed, I wouldnt worry about that. Dark Magician of Chaos and Magician of Faith are both banned so any hopes of Spell and Trap recovery are gone. I don't really know where Soul Exchange could go in a deck like this so I'm sure you can find room for it. The draw power and control is there and so is the primary win condition. Also against Jinzo, you actually have a fighting chance as Dimensional Fissure is a Spell and your Tribute Fodder is still able to regenerate. You can also summon Caius to eliminate Jinzo or summon Vanity's Fiend to run it over in battle. Thunder King Rai-Oh may also be a good choice in here but it's a matter of finding and getting a set.
