As shops usually have more than one worker and items are delegated by what the worker wants; the shop owner may not be the one doing the item. If they're away PM a worker of the shop, that is listed (if the owner has mentioned it) and see if they can do your order, remember never nag anyone for your item it may make them refuse your request.
