Technologically....you get the idea. I'd say we've done our fair share of changing. If you think about it' date=' we haven't changed much in the last 10,000 years or so.[/quote'] that depends. The people who bash Bush are primarily selfish people who don't understand the American mentality. They just say, "WTF! He spent money in iraqqquueue!" They don't actually understand that it was a, and I admit, poor attempt at freeing a country from a tyrant. The crucial thing that many people don't understand is that bush didn't have much control over our government. The president never does. And if you're anti-bush, I guess you can say that the he served as a paradigm for why conservative is a bad thing. If Obama goes through with his original plan of raising taxes on the rich and cutting taxes on the poor, however, it will just stoke the massive economical fire. Cin
When did this topic come about the disliking of Bush? Humans have made some adaptions that were required such as the genes that relate to the pigment in our skin. Dark Skin colour is to do with protecting the vulnerable skin from intense constant sun. You do have a valid point our man kind not needing to evolve, maybe not now, but if Man is to survive past the Sun, it will need to. Prometheus, I would rather you not insult Charles Darwin. (I could say many things about the Bible, but I won't). The bacteria are usually one step ahead, all they need to do is keep changing parts of their genetic code and they've got past. Cin
Atomix on the clock of the Earth Existence, going from 11pm to Midnight, we arrive at 11:59, and the Dinosaurs only existed for 4 minutes. (Source: QI) So I doubt we've been evolving the full time of the Earth's existence. We will adapt repeatedly to a situation over the generations, constantly sustained adaptions in nature have lead to new sub species.
PrometheusMFD
Either mankind will kill himself or mankind will live foreverThose are the only two possibilities.Mainly because Mankind hates himself (e.g. the hinderance of any development that might actually make more, better, or hardier humans (looking at you Green Peace)) Yeah... Supernova513
Well, I don't believe in evolution for the simple reason that there is no evidence for it. (Anyone who wants to debate me on this please PM me). Humans nor other organisms for that matter evolve. That is, change into an entirely different species with new genetic information. Humans and other organism ADAPT to their environments, but that isn't a genetic change, it's an aquired trait, which isn't passed on to offspring.
