If your opponent controls 2 or more cards than you do: You can destroy 1 card on your field; Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If this card is Special Summoned by its own effect: banish it if it would be removed from the field. If your opponent Special Summons a monster with 2000 or more ATK: You can discard this card; destroy the Special Summoned monster and inflict damage to your opponent equal to its Level/Rank x300.

IndomitableWarrior.png

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:

*This card cannot be destroyed by battle during your turn. If this card declares an attack on a monster with more ATK than this card: You can double the Battle Damage you would take; destroy the monster this card battles with at the end of the Damage Step. If this card would be destroyed by a card effect: This card loses its effect and is treated as a Normal Monster instead.

Card A:

The card is alright. It is rather straight forward. I tend to find cards that like being in the graveyard while also providing themselves a way into the graveyard rather unappealing. How good of a hand trap this is puts it at a little absurd of a Level, being a Special Summon specific Trap Hole with double the required ATK while ALSO inflicting that amount of damage is a little absurd. It is flavorful in how a Roc will appear and seize its prey without notice, from seemingly nowhere.

Card B:

Far more flavorful. In fact, the flavor is to the point I have this taste in my mouth, much like triumphant sweat. On to the card, it is alright, there are far better out there that are not Gemini that will get this done with no damage to you, without being two Normal Summons, and without being Bottomless-able.

The vote comes really close in my eyes. Card A just seems too good for me to vote for it. Had it not included damage, I would've been fine voting for it, but again, damage/destroy PLUS setting itself up where it wants to be: Not appealing. My vote has to be for Card B for the immense flavor it has, even though it does lack as a card altogether.

Card A gets my vote. Gemini Monsters are generally pretty strong, and since this effect could easily be put on an effect monster without having it not be balanced, that makes it lose points. The last thing is neat though, but the first is more useful, and it's Level makes it great for a lot of Decks.

My vote goes to Card B. I find Card A pretty overpowered. Maybe with a little less ATK and less damage being inflicted I would consider it, but as it stands now it is just too powerful. Card B is slightly underwhelming, but I would rather have that than a hand trap that has the potential to bring itself back, giving you massive beatstick, as well as destroying a card your opponent controls. I also find the last effect of Card B pretty creative.

I see a fault with Card A that I see that most people have missed. You can just destroy 1 card your opponent controls, then Summon this thing. That is a +2 if I am not mistaken. That seems to be too easy given the conditions of its Summon. Card B, on the other hand, is beautiful. I agree with Therrion in the sense I can taste the flavor of the card like I'm eating a juicy steak! It truly demonstrates what a warrior is supposed to be, especially with you being able to double the battle damage just to get rid of a powerful monster (at the cost of this card if I'm not mistaken). With that said, the win goes to Card B.

1-3 Card B
