You could run three in a deck ever since it was released. I know it's "hard" to get three out, but once you do, it's three times as easy to get the five pieces of Exodia into the Graveyard. Besides that, upon their effects, if you send three normal monsters they'd go to 3000 each at the end of the battle phase. That right there is equal to 6000 max damage.
