As long as the ego-whores don't go all over-board' date=' this will be interesting.

[/quote']

This.

All the egotists on YCM seem to have it in their mind that they have to win each award. They make no difference at all in my perspective. All they tell me is that member either works hard in the section to get that kind of respect, or they have no lives.

And I can see that the roleplaying section hardly gets any nominations in. (again)

There.

Explained in Black and White and as clear as crystal.

Hopefully there would be new winners.

Fix'd. Not all crystals are clear, look at amethyst. :)

Anyway, it won't be much of a surprise if the same winners are chosen, but it would be nice to see some different people win.

When the hell will that happen? Admit it, nobody looks at the different peoples; they only nominate the people who have won before. Maybe if people who had previously won couldn't be voted for, that'd change, but until then, don't get your hopes up.

Yeah, that's true.

I was surprised to see my name on the list of votes for a change lol, which is funny considering the amount of time I've spent here and the amount I've done. :P Must be the ROM Hack lol.

Oh, and I demand a "Best ROM Hacker" category. xD I mean, it's not like only Sushi and I can hack, is it? :P

That's what I said in my first posts. XD

Calm down. I onyl said it would be nice for a change, but also said it wouldn't be a surprise if it didn't. Read and understand the context before jumping so far forward.

Oh, I did. I just intentionally ignored it to drive a point home.

Well, you didn't really need to, you know. You shoul have the maturity to know when to say and not say.

Maturity's overrated. :p

I got an idea to keep the awards from getting stale:

I propose that a person should not be able to receive an award in one category more than twice in a row. It gives other people a chance to win the award instead of feeling that they have no chance. It could go that if a person wins the same award twice in a row, they are ineligible to win the award for the next month. So: Win 2, miss 1, win 2, miss 1, etc... This can keep a category from being too biased and basically be GIVEN to one person every time. I'd rather not see the same people winning the same awards every single month and I'm sure a few others feel the same way.

If they 'truly' deserve it, then they should have no problem giving somebody else the award for a while. They'll know they did good. It gets boring to see the same person get the same award over and over again. Why even have that category if the same person will get the award no matter what? This idea is just to encourage others that they have a chance to win an award.
