[DISC] Morphtronic Forcefield

Recommended Posts

Notice that it only says "Morphtronic"' date=' without the little (s).

I don't see any case where that makes it ineffective. Something that would destroy multiple Morphtronics could certainly be classified as something that is destroying one.

I don't think this card targets. Say if you had three Morphtronics face-up and your opponent activated raigeki, you could use morphtronic barrier to negate it because it would destroy a face-up Morphtronic monster, which is what the card describes.

No, it destroys ALL the monsters, thus not targeting not "a face-up 'Morphtronic monster' " (which means 1 specific monster), but all the monsters, thus meaning you cannot activate that card. If it was something like Suk. Armor, then yes, the card can be activated becuase it targets the 1 attacking monster.

The card does not say a target is needed, so it can stop Raigeki.

NO! The card uses "a" as a target saying that the card targets 1 SPECIFIC MONSTER' date=' unless someone can prove me wrong.

NO! Your username uses "R" as a symbol saying your logic is retarded and targets 1 SPECIFIC TRACK, unless someone can prove me wrong.

"A" can mean anything on the field. It doesn't say target, but rather a Morphtronic monster. If you have 5 Morphtronics and your opponent uses Torrential, it affects A Morphtronic monster but it doesn't target it, rendering your logic obsolete.

Exactly. It doesnt say: "When an effect targets[/i] a 'Morphtronic' monster". It simply says: "When an effect would destroy a 'Morphtronic' monster". Meaning if they use something like 'Raigeki', You can negate it.

While were at it, Forcefield can add more copies of Forcefield ;)
