His transformation is probably similar to Findor and his mask and he merely released a greater supply of energy and was previously holding back. Plus the technique is called Tigre Estoque El Sable so it is probably a ressurection special ability.

 

Segunda Etapa shouldn't exist in my opinion as the nature of Arrancar's release means that making a second stage is technique impossible. Unless it's like Findor and he was holding back but that's like making a amp go to 11 when you can simply just make 10 louder.

Still, SRE should make him much more powerful than his initial state. It has been said that in terms of power, an Arrancar's release is the equivalent of a Shinigami's bankai. Therefore, SRE is Beyond The Impossible.
