How do you make the words in the effect of the cards into japanese dialects?

i use photoshop, and i have to add that japanese text in there by hand. ;)

My tech circle! I made that from scratch, it took like 2-3 hours on PS7. ;)

I tried that method first, then decided to scrap it too and do it the old-fasioned way.

 

When I revive my shop I'll start selling those ads, people seem to really like them. :D

Well, if the pics that suit what I want are in arms-reach here, why leap bounds and end up without results at the end of the day? :D if JD looked like Marshmallon I would not care, it still has a great effect. ;)

Iliciil doesn't burn. At all. He sits and removes all your other Emanaters while keeping himself on the field, trying to burn out your hand and offer possible card advantage, if he survives to your next Draw Phase.

 

Gargojii is.. okay. Dark World Dealings once per turn, but you have to reveal him in your hand. Oh no, I'm activating his effect and now my opponent gets to see him for the rest of the turn, just to make sure I don't do anything shifty with him. >_>

 

Dark Matter Contract is incredibly balanced while at the same time immeasurably fast in regards to how potentially quick you can load more Emanaters into the Graveyard. This card is actually genuinely good for the theme.

 

Doruukji isn't even close to a game winner. A late game option, but 2300 ATK is incredibly mediocre. You have to be able to pull off Gargojii at the same time. Considering how you need 6+ Emanaters to get things rolling and there's only like 6 total, you can probably work with Gargojii. Piercing + a one card mill isn't really that outstanding.

 

Darkness Deform is pretty mean. 3+ Emanaters in the Grave turns it into a Solemn Judgment/Forced Back. Really, only ONE needs to be in the Grave for a free S/T negation? I guess it's a cost, but hardly a noticeable one.

 

Koremar is the only good monster. He's destructive as hell, really. He's the first one that actually makes it seem like letting you stack Dark Emanaters in the Graveyard is a bad thing. Time bomb at 4+ in Grave? Deadly. I didn't even notice or really care about that when considering the awful stats and hilarious effect. Set it in face-down Defense, get lulz.

 

You forgot to mention anything about where the numbers come from for Kokometu's effects. When it's sent to the Graveyard, activate one of these effects, possibly based on the number of Dark Emanaters in your Graveyard? The effects are pretty balanced, too. Ironically enough, your biggest monster is the most useless on the field. >_>

 

Dark Matter Wyvern Cannon... really? There's no restriction at all to the potential for his destruction effect. He doesn't even accumulate any kind of effects based on numbers in your Graveyard, he just laughs and laughs whle you load up his kill mode switch and he fires away. The Special Summon effect is hilariously broken, excuse me while I re-Summon the Tuner and Synchro Material Monsters, both of which I just used to wipe your field, lolol.

 

 

Overall this set isn't overly amazing, it has a consistent theme with drawing power from the Graveyard, but no cards aside from the last one really do anything to promote any kind of offensive plays. You're stuck sitting and stalling out until you can pull out Mr. Wyvern ****truck. It lacks anything to stabilize the field so you're not absolutely relying on your Synchro to be the only possible win condition.

Thanks Skyson. It's seems like there is no possible way that I could ever make you feel happy about a custom card, so I'll take your posts with a grain of salt. ;) I always appreciate seeing yours though, it makes me figure out new stuff to add.

 

 

 

Why did you make the cards in Japanese?

Awesome rating skills. I get bumped down to a C+ because you didn't take the time to read me cards' date=' but only because they're Japanese? I made them that way because they are neat looking. ;)

 

Lots of OCG errors, and somewhat uninteresting overall. As I very much know myself, Dark themes are overdone.

 

Feel free to point out those OCG errors at any time. ;) thanks for looking!

 

And I needed a DARK archetype for my fic, thats why I made one. Otherwise I would have done WATER..

 

Updates!

 

i added 1 new monster, one that i should think would make those upperlevel players a bit happier with this set. ;) please post your comments about it.

I think this is coming from the cards which have '1' compared to '1 or more'. I didn't know if this was on purpose, so I just wanted to ask. The latest one just made me all the more confused with it's slightly new wording.

 

Speaking of Doruukji though, perhaps you should change the effect of sending the top card in your opponent's deck to the graveyard into removing the opponent's top card from the game. Just a small suggestion.

 

Anyway, they are pretty good, that's for sure. Will we be seeing a last-ditch effort card with an ability similar to Megarock Dragon? Seems appropriate for this deck somewhat. As would a card that returns all removed Dark Matter monsters to your graveyard.

yes, you are right about the monster effects accumulating only some of the time. the effects written with just a number and no "or more" after ward can only be activated when there is that exact number of DEs in the Graveyard. Otherwise, the "or more" effects can be activated if at least the starting amount in the Graveyard.
