Space Ranger Gold
Do you think Archetypes with the Same Attribute and/or Type are bad? Discuss
The Warden
It depends really, there very rarely archtypes with the same attribute these days, such as the D-heroes or the dark counterparts. i don't think it's good to have the same attribute unless you're running an attribute deck. however, type can play an important role, so, most types are the same type, hence the name
Phantom Roxas
No, because then it could become pretty easy to hinder them.
RyanAtlus
It depends...That way specific support isn't always a dead draw.
Tronta
theyre clearly superior.i dont know why this is a discussion.if they have the same type and attribute then in addition to the archetype support, you get all the type and attribute support.d-heroes, for example, get allure and rota.batterymen get thunder support, as well as honest.lightsworns also get honest, for sharing their light attribute.spellcasters, if run right, get allure, as well as any spellcaster support you want.but thats more of a type, so you can meld a few different cards to open up more possibilities like chaos sorcerer. .....how do you hinder a type/attribute?dragon capture jar? shadow-mirror?no one runs either.the mirrors made it into side decks, but thats about it.and now only the light one is sided against lightsworns, since dad and zombies are dead.ive seen skill drain used more often.and thats terrible. ~ P O L A R I S ~
No, shared Types/Attributes are an advantage, because you can splash in support cards for the shared Type/Attribute. If you've got mixed Attributes like with E-Heroes and SixSams, you've got a problem since you can't use Attribute support.
Spiff!
Well, Attribute support is pretty useless in Samurai, but it does get Warrior support.
Exiro
They do tend to have a lot of support that works on every single member of the archetype, which can be very decent, but in the end, it depends on the cards themselves. Gladiator Beasts, for example, can only make GOOD use of their own support (if you don't believe me, try following Jason and use Icarus Attack in GBs) and universal support, but since they're very good themselves (and, off course, Gyzarus didn't get banned), they've managed to top for ages.
