Well, you and HH will work together to make a card. Since you 2 are really goo, i dint think you would need extra help, so i put sleepy in the other teams.

I didn't get new PMs from my teammates regarding the contest, and it seems like its the due date arleady :S

 

If that makes you happy, I could separate from the team and post something later today alone so it is not 3 vs 2 (I know the point of this is teamwork but I can't think of anything else by the moment ^-^"). If this is accepted, my teammates can still use the ideas I've given to them ;)

It could be sort of a punishment to me for being here without previous merits :).... What do you say ?

its due by that date' date=' as in on that day. Because i wont start grading until 2 days after, so everyone has time, because i know of the time differences.

Just in case, here's my entry. I apologize for not finding a good pic (most have line paper on them :(. Still, I want to stick with self-drawn pics). Anyways, here's my entry :)

Effect:

You can only activate this card while you have no LIGHT or DARK monsters in your Graveyard. Discard your hand and name 1 card from your Deck. Then, draw cards until you draw the selected card and send all other drawn cards to the Graveyard.

Nice image Sleepy, but that could discard your entire deck if the card is your last card, rofl. Just waiting on Blood for the card image and ours will be up.

That's the fun to it. It could be your next card and that wouldn't actually help that much, or it could be the bottom card if there is something you really need to get that turn and you know you are going to win right there.

What balances the card is the fact that DARK and LIGHT monsters cannot benefit from it, neither Lightsworns, DAD, Necro Gardnas or anything else of that type, which happen to be the top Meta Decks.

Effect is simple but effective and you will almost never be able to control what you are discarding from your Deck (unlike the case of Painful Choice). Also, you will not have hand after using it, so no unexpected combos afterwards at least that turn.

Although I think making it Quick-Play was too much ^-^"

By the way, my card goes into the "Draw abuse" section ;)

Sleepy: You tried your hardest, and hoped to win, but you knew you were no match, but you still fought.

 

Name: 8.43/10 (Cute an Cuddle, suited the card really well)

 

Effect: 9.11/10 How distilling and unique, you actually truly implied Drawing abuse, and in such a way were it is not abused. That takes some true hard work, strategy and thinking.

 

Balance: 8.66/10 The card was actually balanced. You'd think cards that abuse draw power are broken and meta, this one is just that exception.

 

OCG: 10/10 none that i could see, so yay you!

 

Picture: 8.21/10 Wow, just wow, sleepy's drawing skill comes to the rescue again!

 

 

HH and Bloodrun = Wow, with mods always comes power. And they dint let us dowm either, coming to the second round, pretty brave they are!

 

Name: 10/10 For some reason, I just loved it, it suited it so well. It was just amazing.

 

Effect: 9.32/10 Oh my god, you guys just love adding extra kicks to the end of everything don't you.

 

Balance: 8.56/10 You card dint seem as well balanced as usual, but still great, Discard fodder can actually be an advantage with draw decks, and you must remember, that card is exodia Heaven.

 

OCG: 10/10 No, none that were visible to me, so there's that.

 

Picture: 9.7/10 Good suited, but was a little unrealistic if you ask me.

 

 

Now then, Elanor and Sid. You guys were marvelous

 

Name: 9.65/10 I just loved it so much, it was grasping. So grasping

 

Effect:9.67/10 The effect was actually the best of the 3. This was one of the most unique effects ive ever read on YCM, Sure draw power is draw power, but counter damage, that's completely new to me. I also like how you used normal spell cards as quick-plays.

 

Balance: 9.33/10 It starts of pretty cheap, but the damage adds on. On top of that, some times you wont even use the effect and take the damage. So its pretty well balanced.

 

OCG: 10/10 None that i say, so your ok

 

Picture: 9.78 Loved the pic, and the great hollow effect as well.

 

Totals

Sleepy = 44.41/50

HH and Bloodrun = 47.58

Elanor and Sid. = 48.43

 

Oh my god, it's a freaking miracle. Elanor and Sid. win. Since we are down to the last few, I'll tell you the reasons and grades.

 

Elanor, sid, you both will be in round 3. All people in round 2 will be sent a PM with their R2 Gifts

congrats again to the winners ^-^

I have mixed feelings. For one side I feel good for at least doing the job this round. For the other side I feel insignificant for so miraculously passing to round 2 and loosing right afterwards

T_T

 

I guess a self drawn pic in line paper with a 2-line effect (pretty simple by the way) wasn't enough xD

But I was conciderably lower than everyone else in score :(. Well, let's just say that the scores were given to each person separetely and then added up the ones that belonged to their team (in which case I would have the biggest grade xD )

JK :)

anyways, there are only 2 contestants left, I wonder what the final round is going to be about :). I'll be keeping an eye on it.
