However this is how I could of seen the duel working, by activating this card, in order to summon Savior Rose Dragon. Black Rose WhirlwindThis card can only be activated when your opponent activates a card effect. Negate the effects of all card effects activated this turn and draw 1 card. If the card that is drawn is a Monster Card it is Summoned to the field automatically, a monster Summoned in this way is treated as a Plant-Type monster. SushiTheLegend Posted June 6, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 6, 2009 Well my plan was for it to negate the activation of both Misty's Trap Card and Black Rose Dragon's effect, therefore enabling Aki to draw a card which would be Savior Dragon, it being Normal Summoned as a Plant would allow Dark Verger's effect to kick in to Synchro Summon Savior Rose Dragon. Sleepy Posted June 6, 2009 Report Share Posted June 6, 2009 Don't need to negate your own Black Rose Dragon (if you mean the Synchro version and not one of those Savior Dragons, I haven't seen a Black Rose version of them yet).. Both its effects are optional. "When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can destroy all cards on the field.""Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 Plant-Type monster in your Graveyard to change 1 monster your opponent controls to face-up Attack Position and decrese its ATK to 0 until the End Phase." so there is no need to negate it, just focus on negating 1 card :/otherwise its a Solemn Judgement for multiple cards, free of cost, and lets you draw and Special Summon something.. very convenient. .............too much.......... SushiTheLegend Posted June 6, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 6, 2009 Well my reasoning was say it negated just Misty's card effect, that would then mean BRD destroys all the cards and therefore making the summon of SRD impossible as there would be no BRD to tune with Savior and Dark Verger as BRD's effect that Aki activated prior was to destroy all cards with BRD's effect. I guess its okay.I haven't seen that episode yet. I wonder if the card had any drawbacks that didn't matter that much and weren't even noticed :), something like allowing your opponent to draw too, or maybe it negated all effects in a chain or something.
