Once per turn you can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon 1 DARK monster from your hand and halve its ATK. You can remove this card from play to inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to its ATK. I think what Zeaux meant is that DARKs already have lots of support as the most powerful Attribute in the game so far, so this card gets the best targets.
