Crow™
Let's compare....IMO, I perfer Grinder.
AlickimenT
I say Grinder Golem, I have his Token :)
Kira the Savior
They both have uses but Grinder gives you two free synchro material/dark Crushable monsters so I like it better genaerally. I mean you CAN speacil it to defense position on your opponets field and then it only has 300.
Big Mac
I say grinder for reasons stated above, but Lava isint that bad in the right deck. I do think that Grinder is more useful in todays meta though.
burnpsy
I've used both before, they both have different uses. Lava Golem's for stall burn. I find that idea rather difficult to maintain however. Grinder Golem is a card I used in my Lockdown deck, get another monster/token out somehow (probably on the previous turn), special Grinder, tribute the tokens and the other card for Destiny Hero - Plasma, take the Grinder you gave them. It was funny.

Toffee.
Lava is better for removing annoying monsters without exactly 'destroying' them. Grinder is Plasma's drug dealerbest friend [/fact]
Azuh
Grinder owns Lava, by a long shot. Plasma is the reason why. And Grinder, when removed brainwashed doesn't effect you in any way.
Guest Star
Grinder Golem is the better of the two, but both of them have uses. Lava Golem is annoying to face if your opponent has Gravity Bind/Level Limit - Area B and/or you have no way of removing them/it.

Flame Dragon
As a card Grinder is better. The same is said about a deck centered around Grinder.
