You guys are still not seeing what I was saying earlier..... If Tobi is really obito, that means Obito also has the power of traveling to the other demension. His right side would never have been crushed but from the outside no one would be able to tell the difference.

To add to the above, why would he fake that he died? He loved Rin. He didn't want to die. So why in the world would he act like he died when he had NO reason to.

This whole time loop is confusing me now.

So Obito survived and recovered (with the help of whoever or maybe he just survived) and decided to go back in time to get the Kyuubi and destroy Konoha (possibly to avenge Rin's death?) Failed at that so he went back to the present to be with Akatsuki to continue his original Moon's Eye plans?

An explanation would be great.

Also, whose Sharingan did he have in his left eye(before he got the Rinnegan)?

Yes, but to do that he had to have the Mangekyou sharingan which I highly doubt that he unlocked the Mangekyou ten minutes after awakening his sharingan for the first time ever. Also, how do you explain the scars now and the blood that was coming out of him when he was crushed?

Tobi never activated the Mangekyou until now. The warping was a feature of the basic sharingan. But yes, he was indeed crushed.

Um, no. The warping was always Mangekyou, it just works like Kakashi's- a quick on/off effect that is barely noticeable, in-universe. There's nothing basic about the Kamui dimension. It's why only 2 people can access it, to our knowledge.

Um no. It's not a "basic" sharingan technique in that anyone can use it, but Tobi clearly didn't need to activate his Mangekyou to use the warping as he's been shown using it multiple times explicitly with his normal sharingan.

Obito is Tobi?

This is my reaction since I called it the first time Tobi was introduce. But then Tobi became a serious player I started to doubt it.

What if Madara was Tobi first? For all we know, in the past Tobi was never named. Then when Madara died, Obito took on the role of Tobi. Kurama also mention to Naruto that he knows Madara's chakra.

Nah, he's right this time. When you pay close attention, we never actually see Tobi's eye while he's doing his jutsu. That was probably done to prevent us from thinking that it was like Kakashi's.

Besides, it doesn't make much sense for it to not be a Mangekyo technique.

Yeah, we all knew it was Obtio. Many were just in denial.

What if Madara was Tobi first? ... Makes sense. That would explain how he stood up to Minato but he was defeated so that doesn't make sense. Madar can't be beaten by Minato. :I

Fair point, and again, I don't think he escaped that boulder at that point.

Definitely not. The right side of his face is still messed up after all.

Though oddly enough his right arm seemed normal after getting hit by the Sharingan. Wonder why that is?

Either Zetsu shenanigans or Kishi just derping. Can't think of too many other explanations at the moment.

Because Kakashi let Rin die? I'm still not buying it. Although I do hope this leads to them telling how Rin died. I was so mad when they didn't say how in Kakashi Gaiden (That's what its called right?)

I don't think he said that was his reason for taking over the world, that was his reason for not returning to the Leaf.

[spoiler=The Mystery of Obito Explained]I have a wild theory. What if there were actually 2 Tobis?

Obito is about to die under a rock, but Madara (the first Tobi) rescues him. We don't know when Madara actually died. Madara instills all of his Uchiha rage in young Tobi, corrupts him and turns him into the 2nd Tobi that we all know and love. This can be supported by the fact that Tobi has had 2 different hairstyles before (one Madara's, one Obito's). When Obito said that he gave the Rinnegan to Nagato, he was masquerading as Madara. So, maybe the real Madara gave him the Rinnegan. Also, we know Madara survived the battle with Hashirama and apparently gained something from that battle. And we know that Hashirama's genes apparently have the ability to grant increased longevity.

It all makes sense now.

Except that how would Madara get there in time to save Obito? He was moments from death even before the cave in. Besides, why Obito? I mean, I completely agree that there was two Tobis because of the different hair thing. I noticed that a while back as well. Also, what do you mean "all of his Uchiha rage"? This is really sounding like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2.

Q: Except that how would Madara get there in time to save Obito?

A: Because it's Madara Because any one of a number of reasons. That might have been near one of his hideouts, he may have been watching, maybe just odd anime logic, etc.

Q: why Obito?

A: Why not? Obito is actually a very good symbol in the Narutoverse. He represents a pure spirit corrupted by hatred to the fullest. Something seemingly common among the Uchiha (*cough*Sasuke*cough*).

Q: what do you mean "all of his Uchiha rage"?

A: Most Uchiha represent extreme anger and hatred. The series keeps alluding to a continuous fight between Uchiha Hatred/Rage and the Will of Fire.

Didn't that stem from the first ninja world war (was it the first? xD) where Madara and Hashirama formed the Leaf?

Actually, it stemmed from the 2 sons of the Sage of Six Paths. The eldest son became the founder of the Uchiha clan, and the younger son became the founder of the Senju.

"When the Sage was on his deathbed, he selected the younger brother to carry on his dream of establishing peace throughout the ninja world. The older brother, angry and jealous that his father had not chosen him, fought his younger sibling to claim what he felt was rightfully his. The elder brother's descendants, who would become the Uchiha clan, would continue this fight with the younger brother's descendants, the Senju clan."

Oh, so the war was because of that?
