Not sure if the other noticed this but...Remember what Kabutomaru said? He said that he IMPROVED Madara, made him stronger than he was in life during his prime. Perhaps that means he restored him to his youthful self first. Who knows? Maybe it was even him that outfitted Madara with his old armor.

But then again, this raises the question of why the hell would he want to be revived with Rinne Tensei, when that would've just brought him back as old, frail, and weak.

[spoiler=My Thoughts on Spiral Zetsu and a guess as to the coming future]Before I forget, I'd like to point out that this is the first appearance of Spiral Zetsu. I could easily be proven wrong, but I think Spiral Zetsu is going to die in the upcoming flashbacks. We know that Obito shows Zetsu-like qualities, but he showed them because of the influence of the Gedo Statue. This leads me to believe that he heals his arm solely by using the power of the Gedo. This theory is further supported by the fact that in every instance of losing his arm's use, he did not heal it during battle (which in theory he could using Zetsu's regenerative abilities). Also, Obito is clearly wearing masks throughout Shippuden, and not that Zetsu-Armor.

So, my guess is that Obito will watch Rin die, and as he escapes in an emotional frenzy, he runs into enemy ninja, and Spiral Zetsu sacrifices himself to allow him to return to Madara's hideout. Obito gets extremely angry over his own weaknesses, Madara gives him a speech about how his hatred will give him power, then Obito will learn of the Moon's Eye Plan, and since Rin was killed in front of him, he probably activates Mangekyo at this point. Madara dies of age, and Obito takes over, starting with his attempt to capture Kurama, since he is probably aware of Minato's relationship.

One possible reason why only two Jinchuriki have signs of hosting a beast is because they were babies when they were made into Jinchuriki, and therefore much more susceptible to physical changes. I am assuming you mean Gaara and Naruto. We know Killer Bee was older than them when he became one. I think he was at least 5 at the time, perhaps older. I can't remember.

Though there's still one thing that bugs me. Why did Itachi misidentify Tobi as an ancient Uchiha Madara then, if it was really just an angsty Obito with long hair? I mean, he's not stupid as he's demonstrated his talent and intelligence over and over again.

How would he be able to tell the difference? I mean hey, we believed him to be Madara for like 4 years.

I don't know if that was a picture or not, but did Kakashi catch him doing it? Its all funny really. lol

Know what, I think your right for the second time. lol

Anyway, WHY IS THE ANIME IN FILLER AGAIN?? Ga, they are still 60 chapters back and at a rate of even 2 chapters and ep they won't catch up for half a half a year, and in that time they will have another 25 of so chapters to works with. Stupid filler....

They actually found another place to put in filler? Ugh. Is it done like Bleach?

ATM, they've done 3 episodes. First was just going more into the white zetsu fights and showing off team 8. Second focused on Deidara. Third on the mom fighting in konoha (it sounds very stupid). IMO they got worse with each episode.

....Don't they already have a lot of filler material with all the Edo Tensei zombies to be taken care of?

They are either saving those battles for other filler episodes/main story episodes, or they are being stupid.

Anyway, I think they are trying to maintain a set distance between the anime and the manga. Because I see no way for the anime to catch up to the manga if it expands on the battles more. However, given the battles so far, they seem to be done within 2 episodes. Each episode seems to be at least 2 chapters, so with the remaining amount of time before the manga ends, the anime would also be within a year of ending as well, probably about 6 months. So, they are using these anime fillers to keep a year or more between the manga and the anime.

Given this, they may actually do one more set of filler arcs after this because the manga is scheduled to continue to 2014. In recent trends, they usually do 20 episodes (4-5 months of episodes) of filler, and then the rest is dedicated to the main story. So, this will probably continue to about Jan of 2013, and after that continue again with the main story.

Of course, this is only a guess. They might only do a small series of filler to build up anticipation for the actual war, and then we come back to the actual story in a month.
