Synchro Question

Hey everyone, I just got back into the game after about a 2-3 year slump, and i just have to ask... What is a synchro card and a tuner card?:?:((I seriously dont know)

Lol, I have no idea either, I'm new to 5 D's and trying to catch up on the storyline and these "tuner" cards.

Tuner monsters are like regular monsters, except they have Tuner at the end.

 

For Normal Monsters, it's like this: [Type / Tuner]

 

For Effect Monsters, they have Tuner in the place of effect

Synchro Monsters are the new type of monsters. You use a Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters (Monsters that don't have "Tuner" at the end of their type). To summon, the total Level of the Synchro Material monsters HAVE TO EQUAL the Level of the Synchro Monster you want to summon. They are also white-border cards.
