Renders are images that DO NOT have background, just like Yoshi said.

Look at a booster pack and note that the image isn't like its card version, they need to take the background out. They do this for tins/packs

 

Normally, renders are in .png format, because they are transparent

 

Example of a render is:

 

[spoiler=This]

DMG22.png

 

 

You can add backgrounds later if you wish with renders.

A render is a cut-out of a picture.

For example: Say you want a Render to make a Yugioh Booster in Photoshop. You can't use the original image with a background' date=' so you need to Render it, or cut it out.

Then you can put your own background in it, ETC.
