Guest Chaos Pudding
Seriously, it makes it really hard to search to see if a topic you're about to make is a repeat if the topic doesn't show up in search.
Guest Star
I agree with this. It's annoying when three of the same topics are posted in two days. This should be a rule or something.
Crow™
I disagree. We play this game because it's fun! Why not make the titles fun?Just click on the topic, not that hard people...

At least half of them could be solved if the search function was allowed to do its job. You are one of the biggest offenders.
Guest Star
More often than not, these "joke titles" aren't even funny. People spam in this section because they think it's funny when in reality it just makes them look like morons. That's part of the reason I hardly even post here anymore. CrabHelmet
I'm pretty sure the YCM search function only looks at posts, not at topic titles. At any rate, these titles still aren't funny.

Your cunning plan to make people laugh was foiled by a factor you failed to consider: you're an unfunny moron. Everyone, take two sips.

Now-a-days, it has gotton out of hand >____> Also, TC should have noted this topic was also about Rare Fish. So it could stay in the TCG section. Mysty
What good does this topic do exactly? Are you trying to make a rule against funny name titles? Well, not much is changed by Yugioh TCG threads. If you want, try the Comments and Suggestions subforum if you want a new rule put in place or something. Besides, the target audience (i.e. idiots like SD) comes here, but not necessarily to C&S. Basically, this is purely an internal matter.
Guest PikaPerson01
Even so, there's I think (not 100% sure) two problems with the YCM search feature regardless: 1) It only looks for the words in the post. If I'm looking for a topic about... let's say ShapeSnatch, and someone merely posts it's picture with the words "Discuss" followed by it, there's no way to look it up. Heck, there's no way to it shows up in a search of the phrase "Shapesnatch" until someone says "Shapesnatch" in the topic.(Not 100% sure, since a url would typically have the name of a the card in it. "yugioh(dot)wikia(dot)com/blahblahblahShapeSnatch" in the image tag may cause it to show up, stressing may because I'm not completely positive about this. Never the less, other sites where people get card images from exist.) 2) If it's a card with more then a one word name, you'll happen to get all topics that even remotely mention parts or all of its. If I'm looking to see if there's a topic about Grandmaster of the Six Samurai, by typing it in, I'd be bound to get:a) Zanji, Irou, or any of the other six samurai.b) Any post that even remotely mentions Six Samurai. ("Discuss!: Warrior Elimination! Great side against Six Samurai!")c) Any topic that mentions the word Grandmaster. (Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke.) Edit: This post makes very little sense if read "as is", but I'm too rich and good looking to bother editing it to make it sound halfway intelligent. Just skip to the two terrible examples. *nods and agrees with self*
Luis2
I agree with the TC. The search engine saved me from making a Prime Material Dragon topic because the thread had the card name in the title.
