We've discussed this card countless times...

i would say limited. Hes easier than Gorz to Summon. U can pitch a monster from your hand to brain control a monster of the same level; oh and god FORBID u take a tuner! because he can easily manipulate his level to anything in ur graveyard at the time, so u can synchro into anything u feel like at the time. also if u dont take a tuner its not like the monster has doesnt have restriction like not being able to attack or be tributed. Sadly he isn't a big beater like Gorz, because ATK matters so much in Yugimans.

WAHT!

you think this card is worthless?

then you are all idiots' date=' especially if you think gors is good

The only person who said Tragoedia was worthless was HORUS. Gorz IS better than this card. As Static said, there is only limited use to all of this card's effects. It can be summoned easily, but it's attack is usually low. To get it to a decent attack, you will need 3 cards in hand, and that's a bit hard to maintain during mid game.

Gorz on the other hand has a solid 2700 ATK which never changes, and a token to go with it. Although the attack of the token is not always the same, when preventing an OTK, it's ATK can become even higher than Gorz. Gorz, unlike Tragoedia, can turn a game around and is banworthy.

Yeah, Gorz > Tragodia. But hear me out -

I think that Gorz isn't that great nowadays, IMO. Think of it this way.

You're now facing GB's. You have a cleared field. They attack, well, with obviously a GB. You drop gorz. They swap out for murmillo. Destroy Gorz. You're now left with the token which they can probably kill anyway.

You're now facing BW's. You have a cleared field. They attack, well, with obviously a BW. You drop gorz. They special summon gale. Half gorz. They can now kill it easy.

You're facing LS. You have a cleared field due to JD. They attack with the JD. You drop gorz. They're like "WTFMAHJDNO", you draw, enter your battle phase, kill off the JD. End. You're like "YAYIKILLEDHISJD" and then they either drop another one, or bring the killed one back.

A lot of arguements that I've heard is that Gorz protects you because they have to waste resources to kill off gorz, or they can't OTK that turn. Yeah they have to waste resources to kill Gorz, but the resources GB's, BW's, and LS use are laughably easy to bring out. As for the 'they can't OTK that turn', there's a little card that we use this format, it's called 'Threatining Roar'.

[b']You know, they could just activate JD's effect again during Main Phase 2. If they couldn't, then the attack from gorz could probably win the game.[/b]

Tragoedia gets beat in all those situations too.

Gorz will always be a great, if not banworthy, card. Judging a card's power based on the meta isn't a great thing to do because the meta is based on the actual list made by Konami. Either way, Gorz is more situational, but also better than Tragoedia. I've never used Tragoedia, but it appears 3 is a good position or, if necessary, probably 2.

@Yugiohrulez!, you're replicating the God Five combo, but using Tragoedia instead of Slifer. Totally pro!
