Both of their effects aren't that good, they have the same ATK, and they both have a good thing going for them, Rose is a Warrior, Hyper a Light and Machine. I'm saying it's a tie. White Void Posted July 23, 2009 Report Share Posted July 23, 2009 Rose because she doesn't have that odd drawback that Hyper Synchron has and she has synergy with RotA(yes I realize RotA is nowhere near as useful as it used to be now that it is Limited again). If you really want a machine tuner go with Black Salvo/Black Bomber. The only monsters that even really benefit from Hyper Synchron's effect are Dark End Dragon and Light End Dragon imo and even then...there are more efficient ways. If you have Skill Drain out, and you use Rose to perform a Synchro Summon, no bad side effects happen. But with Hyper Synchron, his effect is not negated and makes the Synchro gain lolATK then the Synchro is removed during the End Phase. Aesirson Posted July 23, 2009 Report Share Posted July 23, 2009 Rose's original ATK was 533,333333 and her original DEF was 200, then Konami realized she was red so they changed it to be three times better, still, this wasn't enough to beat Hyper Synchron since his DEF is still 200 points higher then Rose's.
