This thing has always baffled me. One lever gives you icy cold water, the other one gives you scalding hot water. How do they cool it down and heat it up so fast? Its like magic. Go learn how it works and then come back and tell me.

And, uh, discuss water coolers in general, I guess.

These gravity-powered systems have a device to dispense water in a controlled manner. Some versions also have a second dispenser that delivers room temperature water or even heated water that can be used for tea' date=' hot chocolate, or instant coffee. The water in the alternate hot tap is generally heated with a heating element and a hot tank (much like the traditional hot water heaters used in residential homes). Additionally, the hot tap is equipped with a push-in safety valve to prevent burns from an accidental or inadvertent pressing of the lever.

I want one.

[spoiler=The Legend of the mysterious Water Cooler:]

There are many glorious gods. Those with limitless and unbelievable strength. These are the gods you know. But what about the others? Yes, there are others. These, are minor gods, controlling the everyday things you take for granted.

The most known, and the most praised by many, the godly water cooler. Long ago, in Cleveland a galaxy far far away, the minor gods, the ones that controlled amazingly ridiculous items, were discussing the water cooler.

The two tap water gods, Hot and Cold, were arguing what should be the definition of refreshing tap water. Cold wanted ice cold, chilling water. While Hot wanted boiling, warming water.

So they settled things with the most manly and godly way possible: With a children's card game.

They both loved playing children's card games and spending hours on end trying to get these amazing and glowing pieces of card board, so they thought this was the best way to settle it.

They both stacked their decks with Exodia, and ended up in a tie. When they made this wonderous masterpiece, they were proud of them and their great invention.

They agreed to never argue again, until 5 minutes later where they began discussing who should be the meta. Lightsworns or Blackwings.

Seriously, it was kind of obvious how it worked. At least to me. Yugioh is the answer to everything

How could they have POSSIBLY changed the tempature in such a short time.

Also, OMG, here's a crazy idea: Go to wikia or google, and actually *gasp* look it up yourself.

Use your brain. There are either two choices:

They changed the tempatures of the water the SECOND you press the switch.

There are seperate tanks.

Which one actually makes sense?
