Continuous Trap Card

Activate by selecting 1 face-up Effect Monster on the field. It cannot attack' date=' and its effect(s) is negated. When it is destroyed, this card is destroyed.

Another one of the few Continuous Traps that protect themselves.

Is this the last trap we needed to make the following working?

3x Oppression

3x Skill Drain

3x This

1x Heavy

1x Trunade

3x Trap Stun

3x Magic Planter

Well, that's just something that I wanted to do for a while, but it wasn't really stable in the previously. I'll try it out some time. But besides this, it can also be splashed in in about any deck.

I'd use it in the late-game to trap the opponent's DAD/Chaos Sorcerer/JD/Synchro, rather than a first-turn set card to catch the opponent's Breaker, for example, because they'll simply release it or use it in a Synchro Summon.

Discuss.

IDK. I'm pretty sure your opponent can declare priority with many of the most fearsome boss monsters like JD, DAD, Monarchs, and Gyzarus, as they could resolve their effects before this resolves and take it out. Non-boss monsters would likely just be used as fodder for boss monsters, this being destroyed in the process. Has potential for sure, but it's a little situational to pull it off.

ITT: chains don't resolve in reversed order.

Ah right. Was confused by the concept of priority and by this damnable migraine that's subsided somewhat by now' date=' but effect negation's obviously different from destruction. My b. xD

Anyways, I'm finding it outclassed by Skill Drain eh?

Skill Drain isn't splashable.

And the opponent can still summon Synchros and other beatsticks with Skill Drain on the field, so it doesn't have to be a problem. This card actually prevents a monster from harming you.

Fissure?

Smashing Ground?

Owait...how do we stop Stardust?

PHOENIX WING WIND BLAAAAAAAAAAA-

Compulsory Evacuation Device.

Evacuation can't take DAD or JD. =/

:?

Since when we were talking about JD or DAD? We all KNOW THAT ALREADY.

Compulsory is a 0+ Synchro Killer. Except for Thought Ruler, who LOLs at this card.

Since my first post? Suggesting cards to run over this? Then countering my own arguement with a suggestion of stardust, then making a crappy joke about removing Stardust from the field?
