Organization XIII

Phantom Roxas

Recommended Posts

So I've just watched some twenty or thirty minutes of David Lynch's Dune. Excuse me while I go into heavy trauma from the severe mental castration.

So we went Christmas shopping' date=' and we [i']FINALLY[/i] got Days!

It's a great game.

Best game on NDS, imo.

TWEWY. Days.

What was the point of that post?

That fix was fail.

I haven't even played TWEWY, and I know it's better. Days, in my opinion, was good, but could've been so much better. Days covered the really small things that we either figured out or we really wouldn't care about.

1. How Sora came back: Xion. This secret was actually good, but the problem being was spoilers being spread everywhere. If you can't wait for the game, then that sucks for you, because there should be no spoilers. Just frigging wait.

2. How Xion came into being: IMO, I really couldn't care less. This would've actually been a secret that could've been really good, and the centerpiece of the game, but I don't think they said much. This could've actually been also a secret that they just leave to people's imaginations to figure out.

3. The Org's plan for Xion: This one was good. It made for a good boss fight explanation, but I'm afraid the boss fights were dissappointing. They could've done so much more with this.

And that's just the plot. I believe they could've done more with the Heartless. There were ripoffs and remakes of so many heartless I almost had my heart shattered myself. That, and the Keyblades. There were like......3 gears I actually liked. Mainly because all the others were art ripoffs, and were just plain not good for my gameplay style.

Plus, I didn't like the missions. I seriously got annoyed with recon, emblems, and heart collecting missions.

In other words, I can tell from people's talk of TWEWY, and my experiences from Days, I can create the following equation.

TWEWY > Days

Your Opinion is Garbage. CRUNCH. I'll add it to the heap.

Every tree can drop an apple. I'll drop the frikkin' moon.

Any sound can shake the air. My voice shakes the heart! Are we just gonna keep doing this...?

Larxene must not appear in this game.

If she does the game would be rated M for sheer badass evil chick and all the stuff Larxene would do to people if she had emotions.

It would be hard for her to appear in that game.

What I'd like to see is if Lar normally got pushed for being sweet around and hides her original personality as Larxene for fear of being bullied. It'd add allot more psycholoical depth to her stereotype personality.

Granted a kickass stereotype.

Uhh...

Nex' date=' that IS why she acts the way she does.

It isn't specifically said at any point in-game, but I know more about Larxene's character than just about anyone else.

Chances are she was pushed around and treated badly in her original life. Losing her emotions made her into the way she is in Chain of Memories and Days. Without them, she couldn't be emotionally hurt by anyone and went out of her way to make everyone else miserable.

Except Axel. She had a thing for Axel.

[/quote']

I always suspected that.

Though first I thought it was Demyx and Saix but then I realized LArxene could be doing that too.

I just thought I was over analyzing a Disney game.

Days was better than TWEWY. Shades had more style and uniqueness than Xemnas, Joshua could outscheme Zexion, Pinky was a more interesting jabroni than Lar (mainly because she killed people an not just kick people accross the room while you laughed) etc.

The Pi-face was also more of a badass than Axel or any of the organization.

Beat was a better complete moron than Demyx, Rhyme was a more likable character with tragic future than Xion did.

Neku was a more interesting protagonist than Roxas, Hanekoma was a better cryptic all knowing ally than Xigbar. Yodai is a more awesome bulky quit schemer than Lex was. ETC

Noise are recolored but they made the noise from scratch, plus several had different trick to them while their were few heartless in Days that aren't a recolor of an old heartless. Plus each noise type was pretty unique, if you had to have a strategy for each noise then you'd be made that they didn't just make the same noise pop-up over and over again but more powerful each time.

I must learn this Beat's technique of idiocy. If this man's intelligence is lower than that of Demyx, then I must strive to be even more of a moron than him. So help me I will replace my mop with a broom if I am not successful.

Anyway, there you have it. TWEWY > Days.

In light of Days non-creativity with Heartless, I say we have a Heartless competition, where I shall be shamed like a dog whom does not bark as Nexev puts my Heartless through the mud.

Does that sound good to anyone?

Days was good and all, but it was still a bit of a disappointment.

@Nex: Megumi? Most epic Main Antagonist from Square? He's awesome and all, but frankly, I find even Kuja more interesting than him. Not saying I don't like him, but ehhh... and as far as evil schemes go, his seems kinda lazy anyway. Besides, he's really not the game's main antagonist. Just the penultimate one.

Also, Zex and Josh are on equal footing as far as I'm concerned. Joshua's plan had the benefit of him having total advantage over Neku at all times, so it's not like his plan working is too big an accomplishment, though it was still rather brilliant.

Zex's plan would have succeeded no problem, had it not been for Axel screwing things over. His only flaw, really, was in trusting him. =/

@Lar: I knew that too, don't forget. =3

Yeah, Larxene alludes to her past life in the Novels, and doesn't even like the Organization's goal. I think the Novel is the only time she's ever been 'soft" with her words.

For those of you who don't know, Larxene talks to Axel a lot after first being inducted into the organization. He tells her about The Organization's goal after some time, and she suddenly goes really thoughtful.

She's described as having a morose expression on her face as she softly, yet bitterly remarks "What do we need hearts for? That just make things more painful. It's better the way it is now." before brightening back up and going back to her "Normal mood".

This is probably one of the reasons she sought control over The Organization, so that she could change its goal.

@Jacoby: Yeah, TWEWY > Days. No matter what. I'm really hoping BBS will make up for Days. Like I said, it was good, but for a KH/FF title, it was very subpar.

@Skul: That trailer = epic.

Mind=Blown.

Megumi was the only Tragic Hero character, he manages to control Shibuya with his pins and it turns out that by defeating him you actually doomed Shibuya.

Every other villian is either crazy or powerhungry, Megumi turns out to be a bigger hero than you (even if he used a rather shady means).

Plus no one ever thinks Megumi is a hero until near the end, he' the only square enix villian besides Seymour and Golbez you can' just figure out his personallity in only a few of his scenes.

Sorry Roxas, that was a typo.

Final Fantsy VI got 8th best game of all time. (losing to Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros, Tetris, Grnd Theft Auto III, Half Life 2,Doom and metriod in that order)

The second Final Fantasy game on the list was FFVII which only got 15.

FFX got 43. And Dark Phoenix would be happy to know God o war got 26.

How does Days compare to Re: CoM?

You have to equip a "deck" of all your items, abilities, and magic, with the gear as well. Some things like the gear and ability panels take up more than one space and you only have a certain amount of space to fill. Items, when used disappear forever, but magic goes back with each new mission. Other than that, nothing. Especially the fact that the items work almost the same as in regular KH (potions heal health, ethers let you cast more magic but in the way that you just get a couple casts of the spells back in the current mission, etc.). You get infinite attacks, no cards, the menu is there again, more space on each map, and all the good stuff about KH.
