He works with the police to catch the origami killer. Those glasses are known as ARI, and (along with a special glove) make him a walking crime lab. He can analyze blood, prints, tire tracks, and other substances with them, as well as record video. It also has a virtual office, and he can play hand ball and the piano with it.
