Reading rants makes me giggle because I can never believe that someone on the internet is being serious. Especially with this site.

Zex, I think what he is saying is that your jokes are kind of offending him. He believes that his life really is bad, and that you making a joke about a horrible joke life you have is insensitive to him.

 

I think what would really make him stop talking about this over and over, is simply being a little more sensative about it. I can understand it's a joke, but when a joke hits someone's sensative spot, then it really isn't a joke to them.

I knew Zex was kidding, it was in all CAPS. But I can't stand even joking like that. I get mad at things like that easily, and it is the second most infuriating thing.

 

EDIT: Thanks Infinitus, that said it all. I am a happy person, but my life HAS sucked. I just look forward with a bright outlook. Doesn't change the past, and that hits a chord. Life is tough, but I look forward at the joy to come, not the pain back there, and others should do the same. Yes, I remember it. Yes, I learn from it. But it does not control me.

Seeing the complaints about 13's linearity, this is what I believe would help make for a great Final Fantasy game.

 

• The team splitting up and getting back together like in XIII.

• Controlling all your party members like in most games such as IV, X, and XII.

• The ability to switch your in-character avatar like in IV.

• Jumping like in XIII with those blue circles and Lightning jumping into the air for an attack.

• Bigass sandbox world.

• Characters like Auron, Balthier, and Sazh.

• No Giant Space Fleas From Nowhere.

I should think I can joke about whatever I want to. Until a couple years ago, I led a pretty miserable existence myself. You don't hear me whining about it~

 

Seriously, get some thicker skin.

 

 

On the subject of that X review... yeah, I stopped watching half way through. That guy is really just another of those braindead egotists who thinks that anything new is bad, and anything old, or 'classic' is automatically a million times better.

 

Seriously, I'm not even done with XIII, and it's already one of my favorites. And X IS my current favorite. His opinions in the first three minutes of the video are just...no. =/ Reviewers like hi mare only meant to appeal to other people that share his backwards interests, frankly.

 

EDIT: I agree with Roxas' list, although everything would have to be tweaked somewhat to flow correctly with each other.

 

Oh, and a cast like XIII's, too, where just about every character is important in some way.

I absolutely loved X! I'll be playing X-2 with a friend of mine sooner or later this weekend. We're comparing the two games against XIII. We love them both, but if a Final Fantasy game can hold each great aspect of the three, that'd be amazing.
