Nexev
Okay guys I'm back. Now for the huge anticlimax. My banning was nothing more than an april fools joke. Roxas was my partner and banned me for this reason.
Phantom Roxas
The boss in the middle of Chapter 10, while challenging, kind of disappointed me in a sense because potential was wasted. I really hate how the Secondary Roles require so much CP. I know it's because they're secondary, but if that's the case, why you need over nine thousand CP just to get through the first circle? Sploda
@NexevYou act as if we were actually worried about you. In reality we were discussing who would get your stuff. I called your chair and closet.
Nexev
Yeah, I've been stalking this thread the whole time. It was about to become a murder mystery. Then FFXIII got in the way and the plot died as fast as Twilights. And I have a new avi from a manga way better than Hayate (and I read both). Sploda
Well then I demand a link to this Manga, because I'm bored after watching Code Geass for the 5th time.

Phantom Roxas
Eh, I tried to get into The Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer, but I just couldn't find it in myself to pick it up. I'l stick with Beelzebub.
Amethyst Phoenix
Okay guys I'm back. Now for the huge anticlimax. My banning was nothing more than an april fools joke. Zexaeon
Hooray! Oh Nexy, you crafty thing, you. I actually only just noticed it was April Fool's day yesterday when it was about 9 p.m., as it's really not very big here. The thought hadn't even occurred to me. I just sort of expected Nex would be unbanned eventually. Though I did wonder why he hadn't popped over to Drift in order to explain things. I was probably too wrapped up in XIII to give it any real thought. xD;; But, whatever the reason, I didn't figure it out and I was April Fooled, I suppose, so brayvo. Yes. Bray. And on that note, I am in Chapter 11 in FFXIII now. Alexander is the most badass thing ever. And it's also the best Summon so far.
Nexev
Yeah, I should probbaly go on that more. Oh well, I have no idea were I am in te game but I really wish I could do stuff. I mean you can't even change your party or really go outside. It's like my brother said, it feels like the longest tutorial in the world. Since after tutorials you usually get to chose where to go. But Sazh is awesome. Awesome enough for my brother (who more or less back seated the entire game) to award him best FF character ever. That includes Sephiroth and Cloud, not sure if he ever saw Kefka.
Zexaeon
Claiming a character is better than Seph or Cloud isn't hard to do. =/ I may like VII a great deal, but I don't think Cloud is a woaawesome great protagonist. He's a good protagonist (in his actual game, not in all his other appearances where he's Emocloud), but there are several better ones. Cecil, Terra/Locke/Celes, Squall is at least more badass, Tidus/Yuna (Yes, I like Tidus better), Ashe, and of course, Lightning. Anyway, Sazh is quite awesome, but I still like Lightning better. And Fang is pretty awesome too.
Phantom Roxas
I think Dissidia put a few characters through Badass Decay. Cecil would have been a lot cooler if he wasn't spouting his cheesy lines all the time.
Larxene
Although I did like the fact that Cecil could use both his Dark Knight and Paladin abilities instead of just one. If it weren't for the bad lines, he would've been a much more interesting character. Plus his fight against Golbez was easily one of the best pre-fight scenes in the game. Zexaeon
Even despite the cheesy one-liners, I still liked Cecil in Dissidia. =o Sure, I could have done without them, but overall I felt he was still represented pretty nicely. If you wanna look at badass decay, look at Bartz. >_> He's just kind of a bumbling, grinning idiot in Dissidia, whereas he's quite different in the actual game. Dissidia was still a success though, since most of the characters were portrayed wonderfully, and some even received more development. I have zero complaints about Mateus, Cloudy, and Garland. Firion was awesome, except for his constant "Wild Rose"ing, OK was a tad annoying with his know-it-all-ness, and WoL was great.
Larxene
Oh yeah, and get your ass on MSN when you have the chance. New RP developments on Gaia I need to tell you about.
Phantom Roxas
I felt Mateus was more of an antagonist than Chaos. Garland was simply awesome. After all, awesomeness HAS BEEN PASSED DOWN THE ARMSTRONG LINE FOR GENERATIONS. Having not played III or V, I didn't really care for Bartz, and Onion Knight just bugged me. Cloudy, I don't know. I've only played through Cecil, Squall, Cloud, Tidus, and Firion's DO. And you're already at Chapter 11? Nice. Like I said, Raines was a disappointment. It should have been Human Raines -> l'Cie Raines -> Cie'th Raines. As Hope has a nice design (The mere appearance of a character can appeal to me), I like him, but here really needs to get better using Cure. Lightning is quite awesome. Sazh is great too, but not OMGBESTFFCHARACTEREVAH. I guess I'm used to Snow and Vanille by now, since Snow's actually developed nicely and Vanille's accent hasn't gotten so annoying. Fang's entertaining, but that's it. Nothing against gays, but all the subtext between Fang and Vanille is kind of distracting. Taking from TV Tropes, I'll be referring to the Primarch as Bart. Sploda
I think they were portraying Bartz as his younger self, as in before the events of FFV.
Phantom Roxas
That's the problem. Dissidia should take place after the events of each game, which would mean that Bartz lost all of his character development.

Zexaeon
Hope doesn't need to be great with Cure - he's a magical powerhouse. Medic is more like a sub-job for him, really. He's primarily a great Ravager and Synergist, and Lightning can use Cure nicely anyway. Plus, I've been using him with Light and Fang, and Fang's Sentinal makes healing easy. Of course, that's speaking relatively, since almost every monster in Gran Pulse is hard as hell to beat. >_> Also, I like how Hope's character has developed. Come a long way from the whiney boy of Chapter 1. =P He's in my top 3 for favorites in the game. And I'm sure you totally CAN'T tell who the other 2 are. Phantom Roxas
Lightning and either Fang of Bart (The Primarch) Anyway, I realize that Lightning - Hope - Fang is the recommended team, but I want a team based on the most prominent members in the team in regards to who really deserves to be the hero among the heroes. -SupernovA-
---This post is a completely different topic discussion--- Ok this has been bugging the heck out of me. I first played/finished FFVIII when I was seven years old. Back then the I really didn't think too much in-depth of the plot and such and kinda just went along with it. I replayed it a few years ago and wondered to myself if Squall had died at the end of the game, and then I went and searched it and found a bunch of theories as to whether he died at the end or not. I just began to replay it again, and after finishing the first disk my brain kinda went "wait wtf hold up". A giant shard of ice goes through his chest and as he dies the clip fades out, then on disk 2 when he wakes up he doesn't have so much as a scar... This got me to thinking, maybe the rest of the game isn't happening at all? Maybe this is all going on in his head right before he dies, like a flash-forward of what could've been in a way. So naturally, completely curious, I searched it and found this~ http://squallsdead.com/ Bascially it's a theory that Squall died at the end of disk 1, and the rest of the game is all in his head in that split-second before he dies. There are some problems with the theory, but to me most of it makes perfect sense, and it gives the final boss's completely random sentence before it's defeated a meaning that falls in-line with the 'hidden' story plot. What do you guys think? :\
Skuldur
Interesting. I'll play it some time and tell you what I think about it then. On a completely different note, Safer Sephiroth is a really disappointing final boss. >.> I didn't lose a single HP against him and I wasn't over-leveled.
