I think I'll be getting HG, since from what I've seen, the exclusives in that game are better. I prefer the color silver, and I think Lugia is cooler than Ho-oh, so if you can convince me that SS > HG, then I shall happily change my mind. I heard that the method is to get him to the point BEFORE he levels up and gives you the item, and then Register him in the Compendium, then go Level him up and get the item. He never does anything, and only shows up when there is a snack table. I used to be a part of that gang, until I left because all the Head Waterflan could say was "BLORGH GLORGH GROIGSH GRAGROGHLSHA", in a very low, and squishy sounding tone.
