The current Metas are not really based on monsters having great attack, but on effects that destroy monsters. This will just return every time it is killed. And it's heavy storm effect is great. Sephiroth_The_Legend Posted October 21, 2009 Report Share Posted October 21, 2009 i have 3 Ultimates.....i loved this card when it was released.the mist body combo is rockin, but people just MST it :(it was killer when people carelessly played smashing or vortex when this was on the field...personally i still <3 V-Lord though. because of its odd mill effect. Skill drain cannot negate effects that activate in the graveyard, and Phoenix must first be on the field to be sent to the graveyard, and the act of Special Summoning it is useless. BulletMan Posted October 21, 2009 Report Share Posted October 21, 2009 SPoN gets destroyed by effect > Activate Skill Drain > Wait til Standby Phase > It gets Summoned because it was in the GRAVEYARD > Skill Drain negates its S/T destruction effect.
