PrimalFear
ooc: I decided to delete an older post and re post it toward the end of these fights as a last attack before the Oligarchy disappear back to soul society. I may not be on till very late tomorrow or not at all. I have inventory at work so I may be their until 12 midnight and I could be exhausted. I hope this wont ruin this fight. Hayate had finally seen enough, he was confident that he could take down at least one Captain but maybe not kill him. Jumping from the low building Hayate held out his hands as he began to chant incantaion, "Bakudo number ninety nine Kin." Spiritual fabric and iron shafts shot from Hayate's hand unnoticed by anyone not looking in his current direction at Akuma's back who had just revealed himself once again. As the binding spell was just about to make contact Hayate began a second Kido, "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south! Hado number thirty one Shakkahō." A Shot of red energy was fired from Hayate's palm heading for Akuma's back, Hayate new that it would hit about the same time the Binding spell would fully bind Akuma. ◊ Hᵃᵏᵃˢᵉ ◊
OOC: That is so funny cause I was going to send you a message saying I wanted to pull everyone back from the fighting, cause I thought the story was moving too fast too. Well, might as well change what he was thinking then. :/ Taizen arrived in the Real World, noticing the lightning which called him back so immediatly. "Curse Madam Rachel. I wanted to get more data on these brats." He said, growling as he re-opened his realm. He walked into the opened realm, letting it close behind him. He appeared back in the Soul Society, walking immediatly out to the Garden where he looked out at the endless roses, which reminded him of Rachel. "Going against her is one thing, but sending a command towards her supremacy is beyond the limit. Though I have become rebellious, my blade is meant for a little more than hedging the Garden, and stirring up her tea. Oh well, them not seeing me is an advantage to our offense, and even our defense, as they may not even know about me, especially considering I'm a newer Captain. Besides, they've never seen my sword since I focus on my Kidou Spells." He speeched to himself as he walked into the building again, searching for each Captain, making sure they had returned as requested of Rachel. The D.M.
Shoren noticed Taisen in the garden and approached him still a little groggy from his interrupted nap "Please PLEASE tell me you put some kind of relaxing drug in her tea today Taisen im really not in the mood to put up with this." he said rubbing his temples preparing for the massive chewing out Rachel was sure to give him and his comrades "yknow if she said she wanted us to pick them off one at a time i would've done it gladly"
◊ Hᵃᵏᵃˢᵉ ◊
He looked over to Shoren. He had never truly spoke to Shoren, and to see him speaking to him, he sighed. "Not really. She likes her tea a certain way, and I'm not going to change it. If she is going to chew us out, we'll have to face that. You guys won't receive so much of the beating as much as I will. So you don't have much to worry about. Also, you rush into the battle with too much killing intent. I know you'd rather not hear this from me, someone who never kills their enemies, but maybe you should take it down a notch. I mean, if I take them down, you can slice their heads off, but if they come with their revenge against me, then you better watch it." He said sighing. He put his arms behind his head as he looked over to the other arriving Captains. "Akuma needs to hurry up. I would have stopped the attack, but I found no need, as Akuma should be able to get away by himself. Anywho, be ready, cause Rachel is going to be fierce." The D.M.
he seemed to understand what Taizen was saying deep down he hated that everyone thought him to be a monster...but the dying moans of his enemies was like a drug to him powerful and addicting "Very well Taizen but are you sure you can't poison her...just once" he asked in his first ever attempt at a joke he had never tried to connect with the other captains but there was something about Taizen that made him easy to talk to maybe it was because he is Shoren's total opposite
Tempest Dahlia
Rachel walked into the garden. The council table and chairs were already set up. Although the table and chairs were brown, her chair was black with a pink cushion all over it. Also, it was higher than the others. A large, red rose was grown on the left of her chair. It was Batticus's seat, and he loved it.She sat in her high chair, awaiting for all the captains to be present before she began her tyrade. ◊ Hᵃᵏᵃˢᵉ ◊
Taizen laughed for the first time he had in a while. "I do have poison, but I don't think it'd affect her anyway." He said back jokingly. "In all seriousness though, she is our superior, and as so we must look up to her at all times. Do you notice I never go to battle? That is because she keeps me here to tend to her, cause she knows I'm the only one that she can simply push around. She finds you worthy of being a Captain because you have a killing intent, but I am just a simple Captain with feelings." He seemed to grind the word feelings out of his mouth. He seemed to be talking just well with Shoren, which was strange since earlier he had remembered saying he could never relate or talk to him cause he was stupid for rushing to battle so bloodthirstily. Supposedly, they were relating better than he had expected.
Andx
Narration:Rachel's method of punishment is one of the cruelest many people can think of. She prefers inflicting wounds over giving a lecture. She asks no question other than, "What did you do wrong?" as she slashes the offender multiple times. In order to stop the barrage the offender has to tell her in detail what they did that displeased her while she still attacks them. If they don't know what they did, then Rachel doesn't stop slashing. Though she does let those she punishes live. The whole time Rachel remains completely emotionless. No anger or sympathy is ever shown when she punishes; even if the person has angered her, though she tends to cut a bit deeper in those cases. Any time someone she is punishing moves to make her stop she inflicts a mortal, or near-mortal, wound on the person; it depends on if the person is important. As Rachel approached the area where she would meet and punish her captains she was quite ready and willing to pull out a very harsh round of blows. But she would have to wait to punish; Akuma and Gerard hadn't returned yet. Most likely they were still caught in battle.
Tempest Dahlia
Rachel lazily sent out another bolt of red lightning. This bolt was much more fierce. Again, it was channeled at the real world. However, this was slightly different. Instead of striking only her disobedient captains, it destroyed a few buildings. The buildings toppled over from the energy. This was proof that Rachel was angry: A strong building destroyed that easily? The bolts, of course, still struck Akuma and Gerard for not being present. ◊ Hᵃᵏᵃˢᵉ ◊
Taizen could sense the lightning, and sighed, sitting down in his seat nearby Rachel, looking rather obediently. He didn't speak a word, he didn't even dare glance at her. Taizen looked over, waiting for Shoren to arrive as he poured a cup of tea, putting it in front of Rachel. He knew he dare not say anything lest he re-open old wounds. In a few moments, that'd be happening to him. He still had cuts from the last time Rachel had gone in an uprage, and at this point, he had become basically immune to the strikes. Not even the deepest sword cuts hurt him as much as her attitudes. Dad
OOC: You can blame school and work for my absence. Sorry I had a life. Akuma glared as the bolt surged through his body. "Fortunately for you Keisuke, you won't die this day. Commander Alucard has a gathering I must attend, and you aren't nearly as valuable as this time. But I shall return. And when I do, your head will be my trophy." Akuma vanished, landing several dozen miles away, opening a gate back to Soul Society. As he crossed it, he conveniently landed in the closest corridor to the meeting hall, where he took his seat.
Lord JZ of the Enigma
It was over, if only for a short while, Their Captain Commander had gotten pretty angry at the best time possible, Zensaki could not use his spells effectively in the giant dust storm created by the battle, he had sealed his Zanpaktou, which were useless in this situation, he wasn't all that strong, especially without his mask, but he knew that in the next battle he wouldn't allow himself to be a burden, he looked over at the damage done and began studying it, he may not have been as smart as Hayate, but that Reishi was unnatural, and if anyone knew about Reishi composition better than him, he had married that woman. Tempest Dahlia
Rachel looked around at each captain. Her face looked normal, but her red eyes told it all. She was angry with all of them. Punishments were to be handed out. And she had the perfect way to deal with disobiedient little dogs..."You've all disgraced me." She started, leaning back in the chair. "My orders were to get this mission done. However, l thought it was understood to instill fear in the other Captains too."She closed her eyes, silently giving permission for someone to take the floor. PrimalFear
Hayate landed on the ground as the lightning from the sky hit Akuma. As he watched Akuma was struck down by the lightning causing the Kido spells to miss him entirely. As Akuma stood up Hayate went for a recast of his Kido's but before finishing the Incantations Akuma had disappeared. Hayate was sincerely disappointed that he hadn't gotten much of a fight. He wasted to much time scouting their opponents. "Hayate walked over to Keisuke and helped him up, "Keisuke, sorry I didn't mean to leave you hanging in the fight, it was just I thought I had more time." He turned his head and looked toward the spot Akuma had vanished from, "I almost had him too." He slowly turned his head back toward Keisuke hoping he didn't see him as a bad guy because of his beliefs.
Andx
Keisuke had been powerless to stop the strange red lightning from destroying more of the town. And before he knew it the captains had retreated."Rachel." was all he could think at the sight of the lightning. With Akuma's disappearance the bakudo binding Keisuke shattered. Keisuke sealed his sword as he fell and landed on the battered ground."Damn!" he said hitting the earth. Keisuke was never one to cuss. He was clearly angry. Not only had the captains discovered them, but also knew their identities. No doubt Rachel and Akuma were already planning on how to kill them effectively. The only ray of hope in this was that they still didn't know about the hollowfication. The one cero Keisuke had fired was too blurred by his bankai to identify, even for Akuma. He stood up slowly with Hayate's assistance."Regroup." he said simply to his allies there. They needed to get back to their base quickly. It was amazing the Karakura town police hadn't already responded. He had noticed Hayate had tried to assist at the end of the short conflict."Number Two," he said. He called Hayate number two knowing it angered him. The others always just assumed Hayate was one of them so when they picked numbers they gave 2 to Hayate."Can I take it you've finally decided on a side then?" he asked. ◊ Hᵃᵏᵃˢᵉ ◊
Taizen believe he should stay quiet in this predicament, but he simply rose his hand, coughing lightly. "I apologize that I couldn't participate in the mission, as I would have done my best to fulfill that." He said, staring slightly out of the corner of his eye past his hands, which were now in a held position at his mouth in a serious notion. He started biting the tip of his thumb, where he then closed his eyes. "The mission was to kill them, but as study's have shown, they have gone beyond their old Captain Levels." He said, opening up some data he had been collecting on the table. He pointed out two graphs, one with a red line, and another with a blue line. "This red line signifies their strengths as Captains. As you can see, the blue line is formated low under the red line, then suddenly skyrockets above it, then seems to straighten out. If I can calculate correctly, they aquired some new powers, and I highly doubt their the ones we saw with their Zanpakuto's. I believe this new found power has to do with something far beyond our comprehension, yet I have found nothing that completely points it out." He lectured, moving the graphs slightly to the side, revealing more graph material. "Now, you'll notice the red line stays consistent, and this was their Captains Level. Now as I mentioned before, the blue line goes far beyond the red line, but, you'll notice afterwards that it goes down in a complete downfall. Whatever they do use, it drains them of a lot of energy. Until we can figure out just what this is, I request that I be able to stake out as a Renegade among the enemies. Since they don't know me, it'll be easier for me to get away with it, plus, I'm the only one among us that still has his Gigai. All those in favor?" He asked, looking over to Rachel, signifying that he knew her opinion was the only one that mattered.
PrimalFear
"Keisuke!!!" Hayate yelled at hearing the words number two. "Yes after seeing that display of power being used in the real world I cannot ignore the Oligarchy any longer. I have learned a great deal from our enemies, but not enough for us to win of course yet. Wee can use the information I have gathered to help us in the next fight. As with we have a couple aces in the hole, true they know where alive and our identities but they don't know our current number of allies so far and they don't know my Bankai or our Hollow transformations exist we still have a chance." Hayate words where startling to everyone around him because he is greatly known for saying very little about anything. "The only Down fall to our numbers is that As I have been taught Hollows are evil and must be cleansed so I have only just began to train my own abilities." Hayate struggled with this next part as he himself is a Former Captain and has not been ordered to do anything in over 100 plus years. "Keisuke, you are the leader of this group, whats next for us?" Andx
"The only thing they really don't know about us are our hollowfications. We were all captains together at one point and I was probably the only one to never show his bankai. And now even that is shot." Keisuke said. He was considering what their chances were at winning like he never had before."First, let's get back to the base. Our only option now seems to be extending and strengthening our hollow powers. If Akuma is any reflection of the others, they are quite a bit more powerful." he said. Though quite late, the Karakura police had finally arrived on the scene. As the group were in gigais they could be seen by humans. They needed to leave quickly."Let's go." he said, sounding aloof or deep in thought. He couldn't believe that Rachel would resort to that. Even after her parent's deaths she hadn't changed enough to do that. Rachel had cared so much for life; and yet now she casually and calmly took it. This bothered Keisuke. He wanted to know exactly what had happened to his once good friend. He and the others flash stepped away from the scene before the police could tell anyone was still in the crater Narration:Taizen's request may have seemed out of place considering Rachel was horribly angry with him. Throughout their various meetings he had always tried to present data and Rachel hated that as well. She preferred a more direct approach and felt spouting wells of data was pointless. Taizen had made her seriously consider punishing him. Though the idea of letting Taizen handle the case had one large appeal to her. She figured that if he was left on his own to handle the former captains, he would be hopefully be killed in the process. And through that she would get a more accurate idea of their strengths and weaknesses. She liked it and became ready to ban the captains other than Taizen from taking action. zaneko
Danni was breathing heavily. She had used a lot of power in that fight, but a short rest should fix her up nicely. She helped Zansaki to the ground and examined the damage done to the area. She had noticed when the kido spell to seal the area when up but damage was already done. She sighed. Who was going to clean this up? She approached Keisuke. "Hail great leader. I am pleased to report that i revealed neither my bankai nor mask. Nor have I sustained any serious damage. I was also able to offer some support to Zensaki so he was not damage much either." She grinned grimly. "So, what do we do now?"
PrimalFear
Hayate followed the others back toward the base, he was still extremely pissed that he was unable to at least get Akuma as intended. "I guess you are right in your own right, our best chance may very well be the thing I despise the most. I guess the only thing I can really do is train more and work on strengthening my weaknesses." Hayate new he was no where near as strong as the others but his talents with Kido and intelligence in investigation always helped him to gain an edge over the others in the past, but he wasn't sure he could rely on those strengths alone after seeing the display of power from the Oligarchy. Tempest Dahlia
"...Very well," Rachel said, getting off her high chair. Batticus got up from his rose-chair and flew beside her, trying to look official."Listen up: I will not repeat myself, and any mistakes are punishable by a brutal death. Captain Taizen will go on a solo mission to find out more about these fithy former Captains. In the meantime, the rest of you will train until he gets back. I will supervise until l am satisfied with all of you! Is that clear!?"She awaited their confirmations.
Hydra of Ages
Aski was mainly silent as they returned to their base. He shook his white hair nonchalantly. "They never saw me attack them." he said in his gentle voice, as he dispelled the great storm-wall of Kidou he had summoned earlier. "Though if they saw all of you, they will more than likely deduce I am also within the group" he added. "Indeed, even in my former captaincy, none of the other captains saw my Bankai or even spent a very long time within slight of my Shikai. If you can recall, it isn't the most aesthetically pleasing of transformations." he continued. He glanced over at Keisuke. "Actually, if I recall, you were always one of the most disturbed by my abilities. Then again, you were also one of the few unlucky enough to have practice sessions with me." he said with a slight shrug.
Andx
"It's not my place to judge your powers, only what you decide to do with them. But if you have to know, yes your powers disturb me greatly. But if it's another ace in the hole, I have no complaints." Keisuke said. He seemed very distant. Without warning he fell to the ground. He slowly struggled to a knee, but even that much was rather difficult."Darn it, Akuma's release." he said. The sentence probably made no sense to the others but Keisuke understood what had happened. The short time his perception had been distorted had apparently been enough to drain his energy once he started resting. His sight was blurred and his eyes felt quite strained."It never did this much before..." Keisuke said mostly to himself. He was determined to stay conscious. But it seemed it would take a night or two before he was fit for action again. He couldn't afford that; he had to be ready constantly.
◊ Hᵃᵏᵃˢᵉ ◊
Taizen nodded his head as he prepared, taking some money he gathered from his job as the Garden Mender, and taking his sword as well. He quickly grabbed a Gigai Pill, which would separate him if something dangerous happened, and sighed as he opened a realm, looking back to everyone. "Safe Trip to me, I suppose." He said rather lazily, stepping through, letting the realm close behind him. As he traveled through, he kept identifying the names of the people, making sure to remember them all, then, making sure he remembered the name of his school. When he had appeared in the real world, he was in his Gigai, which was excellent, as he wouldn't have to hide his Spiritual Pressure, chiefly due to his amazing control. "Now, I have to search out those kids." He said, opening a Cell Phone that looked like a PDA, showing each of the kids faces as it went through them. "I should be able to identify them whether they're Gigai or separated from their body." He said, looking around to sense the pressure. Nothing. He decided to walk around town, maybe get a job, find a small house to rent, as it seemed he would be here on stake-out for awhile.
Phantom Roxas
Gerard scoffed. "I could have at least finished off the two I was fighting before you dragged me back here. Akuma and myself are strong, and yet you trust one man with the task of wiping out those traitors while we must undergo a pointless training session." Gerard kept his hand close to his sword, though he didn't have his fingers prepared to take out his weapon. He wanted to be prepared, because he knew his words would anger his short-tempered commander.
