Rachel stared at Gerard.

"Captain Geraed, Shut your mouth. I decide when l want to pull someone out of battle, not you! It isn't only about killing them, fool! Which, by the way, it looked more as if your opponent had the upper hand anyway! So l save your ass!"

She knew that would push his buttons. Insulting a captain's battle skills was like killing their families. Rachel expected a retort from him. And then his punishment would begin...

"It's a shame. I should have sent Batticus instead of you."

Gerard scowled. "Now this isn't about killing them? I thought that was the whole reason to went to the living world. Besides, I could have used my Bankai, but then you had to go and ruin things." He would have finished there, but then Rachel dared to comment that sending her annoying little bet would have been a better choice. Having had enough, Gerard prepared a Kido spelled, firing a shot of flame at Batticus.

Taizen looked around at the city, looking at the damage that had been done not too long ago by his partners and the enemies. "Seems they went a full-scale battle. Sure they were supposed to kill them, but they shouldn't have made a scene." He said rather annoyed. Just then, he felt a thin thread of Spiritual Pressure drifting in the air. "They just left their Gigai. I felt it. There is about...." He was silent for a moment. "Eight of them. I expected more for such a pushy battle to have occurred." He finished as he walked towards the Spiritual Pressure, but stopped, noticing a large rental house. One Bath, One Room with nice living room. Pool in back. Hot Spa around corner. $850 a month for Rent. "I suppose I could rent this for now." He said, walking into the building, noticing a short, chubby man, as he smiled widely. "Hello, how can I help you?" The chubby man said. "I want to rent that house." He said, showing the man twice the amount of money that the rental was worth. "Here are the keys!" He said, screaming with drool as he looked at the money. Taizen walked out with the keys, walking to the house. As he walked in, he immediatly went to the bed, where he lay down. "These are way better than those rocks Rachel gives us as beds." He said, stretching as he slept quietly, using a small Kido control to lock the door. He had already shrouded his Kido with a Spell, so he wasn't afraid to have used that.

"Gerard! That's enough!" Akuma said flinging the blast away at the last moment. "I understand your rage, for I too was on the verge of clearing said battles, but rebellion would mean utter failure, and lest we extract revenge on the former Captains than our allies. You can train with me," he suggested. "Commander, please forgive my comrade," he said quietly. He wouldn't want the one remaining man he trusted to be eliminated before him.

Rachel laughed. A cruel, evil, blood-curdling laugh that lasted for a few seconds. Batticus retreated behind her.

"Captain Akuma, you may sit down. It appears that there's a disobediant little dog in my presence."

Rachel picked up the closed umbrella that hung from her chair and held it in the air.

"Breeze over the blood-red field, Phantom Rose."

The umbrella slowly opened, causing her reiatsu to skyrocket. She held it like a parasol.

"I'm going to teach you manners... You stray mutt." she said gently...

Gerard sighed. Akuma and Gerard trusted only each other between the five Captains. He would have gone train with Akuma without another word, but then Rachel released her Zanpakuto. He resisted the urge to wipe the floor with the Commander, but he decided to heed Akuma's words. "I'll fight with you later, Commander," he remarked sarcastically. "You may not want to admit it, but with the ratio of battle being 8-5, we have a rather high chance of losing. Allow me to live as your comrade for now, and you may do as you wish once we exterminate the eight former Captains. Fair enough?"

Narration:

Rachel so longed to tell them the truth, though she knew she couldn't yet. She had never once intended on sharing power with them. However, killing her opposition on her own would've been quite difficult even for her. Her plan had required assistance and the four were willing to give it. But now that her plan had progressed she yearned daily to kill the four; that was part of the plan as well. Eventually she herself would kill the other four captains, but only after they had killed the eight in the real world. Only then could she achieve the power she required.

Now, though she wished him to die, Rachel knew killing Gerard now would not be wise. The less she had to interact with the other eight, the better for her. But Gerard had begged for severe punishment by challenging her decision, and she was far more than willing to supply. Through the years she noticed that people often took orders better after a near death experience.

Hayate continued along with the others as they headed for the base. Hayate was analyzing the data he collected on the fight within his head. He noticed a few things that made no since and other things that seemed to intrigue him. As he looked back down in front of him he noticed Keisuke acting strange, "Keisuke what is it?" He slowly walked to his ally and looked down at the weak Captain.

"Can you Hear me Keisuke?" He asked as he shook the Captains shoulder. Hayate wasn't sure what actually was going on but he could only figure one or two things that where triggering this. "Keisuke!!! Answer me what is happening to you?" Hayate was a little startled by this happening and he wasn't sure if it was the work of Akuma or it being part of Keisuke's Hollow transformation trying to take over. As Hayate watched Keisuke waiting for a answer he immediately grabbed for his sword, although he did not unsheathe it he prepared for anything to happen.

"Darn it. I can't believe I let that get to me. That hasn't happened since the first time I fought him." Keisuke said again to himself but still out loud. He noticed that Hayate had become worried, even prepared to attack.

"Calm down Hayate. I think I know what you think it happening and that's not it. The stressful effects of Akuma's release have caught up to me. It's a lot stronger than it was in the past." Keisuke said, now barely conscious.

"It looks like I'll be out of action for a day or two." he said his voice trailing as he finished the sentence. Keisuke finally lost consciousness. As he passed out he cursed himself for not being stronger. How would he ever win this fight if that amount of time in Akuma's release was enough to cripple him?

"Who ever said l was actually going to fight you...?" Rachel said. A strange wind began to pick up. The field of roses began to blow in different directions, which was a bit strange considering wind usually only blew one way at a time.

"You will not talk to me any way you want, nor will you attack my pet. I won't kill you, but i'll beat you within an inch of your life... Fair enough?" She replied, charging at him. With the umbrella behind her, it didn't look like she was prepared to do anything.

Hayate released his blade as he watched Keisuke fall to the ground unconscious. "Now, we have no time to waste we all must get back to the Base now." Hayate bent to his knees as he picked up Keisuke and threw him over his shoulder. As he stood up he nodded his head to the other Captains, "Lets go, and I want you all to keep your eyes peeled for enemies that my strike." Hayate started to run toward the area where the base was located.

As they ran a million thoughts ran through Hayate's mind, "Can I really trust them? Can we actually use our Transformations to help restore Soul Society to its former glory? Can I bring myself to train these abilities I detest so much? What would Captain Commander Yamamoto do in this situation?"

All these thoughts raced through his mind as they continued toward the base. As they rounded the corner of the alleyway, their just before them not more then 500 yrds from their base was three Menos Grande. "Take them down quickly, and return yourselves into your Gigai before you head into the base. We must take every precaution in keeping it a secret.

Aski smiled weakly at the Menos Grande, flicking hair from his face. "Odd we didn't notice these guys. Menos generally aren't very subtle." he said idly, leaving his Zanpaktou sheathed. He didn't bother to exit his Gigai, instead grasping his left elbow with his right hand and closing his eyes.

"Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man. On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens. Hado number 63, Sōren Sōkatsui - Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down"

He finished the incantation, raising his glowing blue palms towards one of the Menos and releasing a massive flurry of blue energy from each. The Menos howled out before the blasts hit it directly in the mask, causing a massive uprising of steam as the rest of the menos disintegrated upon the non-existence of its head.

"Hayate...I know you must be confused...but it's not that bad, being a part of the Corrupted Lords...you're number 2 for a reason....at least that's what I think..." he said wuietly as he looked onto the approaching menos."Really...how bad can this day become?" he decides that wasting anymore Spiritual Energy will only cause more ripples in the cities own aura, he leaves his Gigai abruptly and runs towards the beast, his Zanpaktou back into it's sealed form, he jumps up into the air and slashes the Hollow Horizontally, as he slices it he kicks it's nose to take out the blade.

Soon after a second Menos begins trying to move ahead of him, but using his Blade to cut a part of it's lower torso, as it goes down like a felled tree he runs to the head and stabs it in the face, it's spirit particles dispersing through the air."These things are annoying, reminds me of the time I accidentally fell in Hueco Mundo for a week."

Taizen awoke, sensing several Menos Grande which had formed in the area. Though he felt them destroyed, he could feel an additional two appear.. "Ugh, those kids are there." He said, yawning. Quickly, he grabbed his blade, along with his pill, smiling as he jumped out of his Gigai and appeared on a building, having Shunpo'd there. He noticed the kids and decided he would win his way into their trust by helping destroy the Menos. As Taizen jumped up he put his hand out. "Hado # 63 Soren Sokatsui- Twin Lotus Blue Fire." He stated, a large blue blast making contact with another Menos Grande, completely knocking it over as it dissintegrated. Taizen did a frontflip, landing to the ground on both his feet nearby the Former Captains. He looked out of the corner of his eye at them, then stared back forward at the last Menos, which was charging a large Cero, quickly blasting it at him. "Bakudo #81 Danku- Splitting Void." He stated next, a large barrier forming as it quickly blocked the Cero, holding it against the barrier. After a few seconds, it dissapated. The barrier came down and a large Hado Spell was formed in Taizen's hand. "Hado # 88 Hiryugekizokushintenraiho- Flying Dragon-Striking Heaven-Shaking Thunder Cannon." He said, an enormous blue dragon made of lightning Kidou, bursting from his palm, completely engulfing the beast and exterminating him. Taizen stood there with a serious expression, sighing as he looked over to the Former Captains. "That seemed to go quite well. Are you all ok?"

Shoren had heard Rachel's orders ad obeying them he went to practice his Kido "the most practical moves to learn would be Bakudo techniques to immobilize my enemies being my Zanpakuto cuts through people like butter it would be a killer combination" he thought and began his training to sharpen his kido skills "Next time those damn shinigami challenge me i wont even have to use Bankai to cut them down!!"

Aski let a ghost of a smile cross his face. "Hello, Taizen." he said with a friendly cock of his head, that nevertheless seemed to have the venom of a viper preparing to strike. "I wasn't aware Rachel was allowing you to kill Hollow again." he said, keeping his grin. "Or letting you come to the human realm, at that. Weren't you Shinigami supposed to not bother yourself with humankind anymore?"

Behind his thin pretense of camaraderie, Aski's mind was whirring. Taizen had been a captain for longer than he had, and indeed he even vaguely recalled being taught a couple of higher-class Kido forms by him at some point. He remembered the captain's potency in combat, and was attempting to figure the best way to defeat him during this momentary lull in combat, running several scenarios through his head.

Zensaki looked over in shock at the Kido attack, there were few people who had Kido skills that matched his, but that was quite the impressive display."Taizen? well, this is an unexpected surprise" he looks over as the Large hollow falls."I'm guessing he did something bad to you? Did he steal you cookie Taizen?" he asked sarcastically, it couldn't be a coincidence, immediately after revealing themselves, and being one of the Captains that was not in the battle...one question remained."what the hell do you want?"

Hayate had all ready carried Keisuke inside as he lay him down on a couch. He said nothing as he went and pulled a wash cloth off the table, soaking it in cold water he placed it on top of Keisuke's head. He then returned to the table where he poured himself a glass of juice. He sat at the table and began writing down a few things e remembered from the fight.

"Once Keisuke wakes up I'm going to have to have him train with me in order for us to become stronger." He new that at his current level he could stand against one if not maybe two of their Oligarchy Captains but he was not strong enough to kill them. Knowing this only grew more anger inside of him, he new the only ways possible to kill them or regain the power in Soul Society was with their Hollow transformations.

"Oh Captain Commander Yamamoto I wish you where still here to give me your guidance in this time of despair." As he stood up he checked on Keisuke, Sitting down on the other couch Hayate thought to himself, "Maybe I should check on the others, but they must learn to figure out how to do stuff by themselves. If I learned anything from distancing myself from the others, that was it." He flipped on the tv and slowly passed out himself.

"I guess you can't listen to reason." He decided that any wise-ass remarks would only further anger Rachel to the point of murdering him, so he shut his eyes and took a breath, ready to take the full brunt of her attack. He thought to himself, I'll take everything she has to throw at me. I'll listen to Akuma, and kill Rachel when the time is right. Yeah, that sounds good.

Taizen smiled, waving his hand lightly to both Aski and Zensaki. "Rachel has become quite a rage around the Oligarchy now, and I decided I just needed to come out. I already know she plans to rid of us when the others rid of you, but I'm just here for vacation. The Captains have become irritable as well, and it's hard to tend to the Gardens and take care of the stray flowers with her constantly beating us, or calling meetings on us to rid of you. I don't really care for this ordeal truthfully." He said, sitting down cross-legged now. "If you want to try and kill me to make your fight against the Oligarchy easier, then go ahead, but just remember, I might fight back. Like I said, I'm only here for vacation." He said smiling, but showed great happiness in seeing his old Captain friends again. In truth, when he told Rachel he was going out for a stake-out mission, it was really just to get out of there before he got killed by her. He had become a rebellious person in the last few years, and he knew it was beginning to irritate her.

Aski chuckled a little in his own, gentle way. "Why would I want to kill my old Kido teacher?" he said with a hint of impishness, giving one of his small, dark grins. It was nigh-impossible to watch Aski smile under normal circumstances and not think that he was secretly wondering how to drink your blood, and now wasn't any exception.

He smirked a little and cocked his head again. "And what possible benefit could I gain from attacking a vacationing member of the Oligarchy that expects such an act?" he said with a hint of wistfulness.

Taizen simply shrugged and laughed lightly. "My student has yet to change as he always was." He said as he pat his back lightly. "Too bad I didn't get to teach you that Hado Spell I just used. What number did we get up to? 80? 84?" He asked Aski, rather forgetful at the moment. He looked over to Zensaki for a moment, rather curious. "You seem to use Hado Spells with excellency, yet you used your blade to vanquish that Menos. Why is that?" He asked him. He gave a new, "I wonder" look, as he looked at the two. "Where's the rest of the group? I'm sure they'll be surprised to see me." He said with a large smile. He had told Rachel another lie. Though he said none of them knew him, he actually knew all of them, as he had been a Captain longer than any of the Oligarchy or the Former Captains here in the real world.

"Can't even use my name? how rude....yes, I do use Kido pretty well, I was former president of the Kido Alliance Association...Zensaki Saigo, and you, I have to say are still very Impressive Captain Taizen Sutaima." He lets him talk a little longer."The Group at the moment is away from this location, 8 former captains would be a large blip on the Oligarchies radar, Gigai, or not." he wonders what Taizen wanted to know about his Kido."about the Menos....Kido spells would have been overkill, there is no reason to use my Reiatsu....and a level 88 Hado is just a liitle much, wouldn't you say?"

Taizen shrugged again and nodded. "Ah, yes, Zensaki, you were the Former President. I took your spot, after the..... incident." He said rather lightly, trying not to bring it up. "You always were great with Kido. I always wanted to Kido Spar with you, but we never got the chance, always being out on missions and such. Also, yeah sure, the #88 might have been a little pushy, but I just couldn't help it. I haven't used that Hado Spell in seventeen years." He said sadly. "I almost forgot about the Oligarchy for the moment. True, having all of you in one spot would seem like a big strike situation for the Oligarchy. At least Rachel isn't here, or I'd actually have to fight. So tell me, if there is eight of you, why did my team report in with only seven having struck at us? It seems kind of, I don't know, awkward." He seemed to be asking to many questions and it really seemed like he was out of place in his mind now.

Aski chuckled a bit. "I learned up to 82, Purifying Shaft On The Divine Wings of the Sun from you, though I've learned up to somewhere in the level 90s on my own. Of course, I've found that my higher-level Kido isn't nearly as stable as anything from 86-down, so I choose not to use it unless necessary." He said in his gentle voice.

He turned around for a second, and smirked. "I did not fight and as far as I know, was not spotted." Aski said idly. "I instead was busying myself by erecting Kido Barriers to prevent one of your more overzealous allies from further harming the human civilization. None of which ever saw use, mind you, but still better to be safe rather than sorry." he said with a hint of a yawn, glancing back at Taizen. Aski was very intelligent; he didn't for a second trust that Taizen was simply here out of his own curiosity, and was even more skeptical of one of the Oligarchy taking a 'vacation' in the human world they had been forbidden from entering. Either Taizen had gone rogue for whatever reason, or he was attempting to earn their camaraderie in order to betray them or bring information back to Rachel.
