b0b3rt
Too slow in the current meta?I've found him useless in BW and Zombies.New question: Should he be limited? Better ways to get Exodia.Discuss.
GenzoTheHarpist
He's not necessary. Only run him in decks where you absolutely HAVE to search a card that he's best suited for. For instance, the only deck I have him in is plants due to needing to get lonefire to my hand as quick as possible.

GenzoTheHarpist
He shouldn't be limited. He's a 3 or 0 card for sure.
.Leo
He has past his prime. I would rather use Pyramid Turtle or Mystic Tomato to search my Deck in Zombies. Black Whirlwind does its job in Blackwings. Don't see why you tried him there.

Squirtle Squirtle
Sangan is a little slow, but compared to Battle Searchers he's godly. >____>
.Leo
No' date=' he shouldn't be Limited. He should be Forbidden.[/quote'] Keeping People from using this card is a win idea. I think he is a card that can be abused because you can use yourself a little regeneration process.
b0b3rt
Chaos, he's a pretty slow searcher. Do you think Gold Sarc should be Forbidden too?How bout deep diver?
GenzoTheHarpist
Sangan is a little slow' date=' but compared to Battle Searchers he's godly. >____>[/quote'] Eh, depends. Battle searchers put the card on the field, which can be better than putting it in the hand depending on what it is.
burnpsy
Sangan + 3x Emissary of the Afterlife = 4 Exodia limbs Best use I see for it. Anyways, why use him in BW/Zombies? BW have Whirlwind, and Zombies have Foolish Burial/Pyramid Turtle/Mystic Tomato. >.>

~ P O L A R I S ~
What makes Sangan so bad for the game? Sangan promotes skill. Why can't it be at 3? It allows your opponent to add field presence, a reasonable drawback, in favour of having you need the skill to select the right card for the situation. You can regret choices you make involving Sangan, which tells you there's a margin of skill there. It's fairly large with Sangan too.
Psycho Shocker Android
No' date=' he shouldn't be Limited. burnpsy
Fraz, toni, most of this thread is either sarcasm, positive posts about Sangan, or posts from Leo, Squirtle and bob3rt. >.>
Coffee Black
it's probably limited because it can fit into nearly any deck easily. instantly getting a monster w/ 1500 ATK or less is really good, even though today people can swarm the field in one turn. Maybe it should be semi-limited
Guest PikaPerson01
Too slow for this format, since getting cards to the field is more important then getting them to the hand. pszgoblin zombiegaleMystic Tomato. Pyramid Turtle for the first two. galekalutBlack Whirlwind. frogBetter to Foolish Burial it. cyber valleylonefireEh... arguably the few decent targets. bestiariTest TigerIf you're opponent already brave enough to attack your Sangan, you're probably already on the brink of losing and neither Bestiari nor Test Tiger would have saved you. Rescue Cat would have arguably been a better choice, but even then... one card to search one other card? Really? <_< summoner monkflamvell magicalLol. GenzoTheHarpist
If they're face down, there are some times you can't afford to wait and see what they are first. Opponents can also ram searchers into you whether you like it or not.
