They do NOT work that great together.[/quote'] But it works in other way : if you discard for example FRD Luri or FRDB Cerberus by the effect of DW, they will activate their effects Stop being bad. There are't may good Dark World cards that discard, and those that are decent are still usually worse than a card which discards for a COST, and FRD's still trigger from that. -Griffin Posted November 29, 2009 Report Share Posted November 29, 2009 -Facepalm- I know this, you fail.Fiend Roars activate when discarded for an effect, but things that discard as an effect are usually weaker than ones that discard for a cost. So you'd never use ones that discard for an effect in a decent FRD Deck except Raven because he's a decent part of the Archtype. This means that you shouldn't use things that discard for an effect, making the Dark World part of the Deck useless. In other words, pure Fiend Roars are good, adding Dark Worlds kills them if you're beyond WC09 because Dark Worlds are just swarm beatsticks which Fiend Roars do well enough with Synchros already. Fraz Posted November 29, 2009 Report Share Posted November 29, 2009 Fiend Roars work well in their own decktype and splashed in some others. They're better than dark worlds because their effects are less specific and they have stuff like tuners which have revival effects.
