DL
No, it's still going on. Also, what type could a tamer fall under (AKA people who train animals to fight FOR them?) Let me guess, beast warrior? No.

DL
Now how can they be a warrior if they don't fight? That makes no sense whatsoever. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your hand when you control a Winged-Beast-Type monster. Once per turn, you can select one WIND monster on your opponent's side of the field and take control of it. During your End Phase, if this is the only card you control, you can return it to your hand to Special Summon 1 Winged-Beast-Type monster from your hand. This is a sample of what a tamer is. They don't fight, they train animals to fight for them. They do not cast any magic on the animals, they train them by pure sweat and tears. fenrir
Tamers can be classified as Warriors, or spellcasters, depending on what you define them. There are two types of tamers that I know of. 1; The ones that use magic to tame powerful/mighty beasts. 2; Ones that tame normal animals naturally. First one, Spellcaster. Second one, Warrior. Before I explain why I said 'Warrior' I want you to guess.
DL
the first 1 is wrong. They tame them normally, so I'll guess why warriors. They have to fight with their animals to train them, am I right?
fenrir
No, Wizards don't simply go; "Oh and animal, I better show them compassion and understanding." They have magic, they wouldn't waste time trying to tame a dragon like that. =/ For the second one, you're half right. While Tamers do 'tame' these beasts, how do you think they do it? I mean, if you approach a stray dog, things are different; but approach a lion or a tiger, then you better have a means to defend yourself. Not to mention a show of power usually helps. >_>
DL
too bad tamers don't go after lions and tigers, they go after small things that swarm, like a flock of birds.Besides, it takes as much skill to tame small things as big things. If you ahve enough skill, both of them are just as easy to tame.Yes, even though lions are big and dangerous, they're only dangerous when hungry . a proffessional would have no problem dealing with it, and thwese tamers are a pro's pro.A good attempt, I must admit. fenrir
Sorry to say that you're dead wrong. First of all, why would they want to tame a lion? They're big, powerful, and feared. Why would a tamer want to tame a flock of birds? To annoy his neighbors. Now, when you make a YGO card, why would a tamer fight with a flock of birds? There's no offensive purpose there. If said tamer was a Spellcaster, then fine. Not to mention the fact that tamers don't simply tame animals and let them fight by themselves. They often jump in an co-fight with their pets. After all, I'd be scared if a lion jumped me. But a lion alongside a guy with an axe? Yeah. I'd be scared shitless. >_> Also, I wasn't saying that smaller things are easier to tame, but there's no real payback in taming smaller things. Sploda
1. Everyone things they are the big bad pussycat, when actually the Lioness is the one you need to worry about.2. Still, the only ways to tame a beast is toa. Have really awesome Charisma (Charmer = Spellcaster)b. Beat it until it obeys. (Warrior)Either way it becomes a warrior or Spellcaster. Sploda
Yes but the Lioness hunts. Now which is more dangerous the Hunter or the one that just patrols the border all day?
fenrir
There's a reason why the male is the one that controls the territory you know. So technically, I'd rather fear the Lion rather than the Lioness.
