If there is a Field Spell active, you can pay 500 Life Points and place the Field Spell in your monster card zone. It is treated as a 6 Star, Earth monster with 2200 ATK points. When this card is destroyed, return the field spell to the owners hand.

While I am happy that there are more Fairy Tail fans, it saddens me that it now has almost the same chances as Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece to have countless sets based on it.

 

It just bugs me when characters become LV monsters. While that would make sense considering how the shonen genre is dedicated to power-ups, it just bugs me for some reason. Special Summon, Standby Phase, Tribute, Trap card(s), Spell card(s), Set, Monster, ATK, DEF, 1, etc. should all be written as such. The effect of Taurus also kind of bugs me. I'm not too fond of cards that designate gender, as there are countless cards out there with indeterminate gender.

 

But I'm being way too harsh on you, which isn't fair considering how new you are. For a new member, this is a nice start. I applaud you in the work you put into making these cards, and I especially like that you found some good colored images. With a little practice, you could be better. It can be a bit annoying to have to keep scrolling due to your cards. This is what I do:

one thing i have yet to learn to do is to post it like the spoiler thing and have the image to view seperately. As for a few of the effects, I know im new compared to you, but at the same time, i believe pop culture cards like taurus' effect effect the personality of the card they represent, Taurus is a pervert, thusly, he doesnt attack females. I dont know why i decided to make Natsu, Gray, and Erza level monsters, considering they'll be like the only ones in the set that are (unless i make Gazille one too) but anyway, thanks for the words of wisdom

Yes, Pop Culture cards are generally meant to reflect the card they represent, but I haven't seen a card that exists in real life that relates to the art of a card. For that reason, it just bugs me.

i dont think alot of them are streched per-say, and as far as i can tell, only 1 has a border. Most, if not all of them have been cropped down to wipe out text and words on the card that take away from the image

Natsu Dragonil LV6, 8 monsters: FIRE isn't a type, it's an Attribute.

I don't know this anime, but the cards look fine to me 7/10

Few OCG things I'll point out now:

Tribute, Special Summon, Standby Phase, Graveyard, Spell, Trap, and Deck are all capitalized

attack points/attack = ATK

Fire-attribute = FIRE-Attribute

You don't type out numbers: one = 1

There are no Quick-Play Trap cards. A regular Trap card fits better.

 

The pictures are mostly good, but there are a few(Gray LV4, Jubia, Evergreen, Mistgun, Virgo, Scorpian, Aries) that are pretty stretched in a fairly distracting way. I usually try cut parts off the images I use to make sure their height and width are fairly close before I use them in a card. I sometimes have to crop out more of the image than I like to do it, but it results in a much better-looking card.

 

You worded Erza's effect a little backwords: referring to the equip cards, it should read "equip it to this card" instead of "equip it with this card" like it currently shows.

 

The effect of Gray's higher levels seem a little overpowered in how they can effect so many cards on the field. I would personally make it 2, then 3 monsters *or* Spell/Trap cards instead of 3 of both, but that's just me. I'm also a little bothered by the female/male based effect on Taurus, but since that's already been addressed, that's all I'll say about it.

 

 

All in all, these are pretty good cards with interesting effects while remaining true to the characters they represent. I've read through the Fairy Tail manga myself, and I quite like it. I hope you continue to improve, and I very much look forward to seeing what you come up with in for this set in the future.

actually, Stellar Spirits can be out as long as the Stellar Spirit mage they have a contract with has the energy to keep them out, hence Lilly's effect. And when it comes to the Gerard/Jeral/Sieglein set, everyone knows there all the same, but personally, i think the way i did them makes it more fun. Im thinking about doing a card of Mistgun without his mask on, but i wouldnt know what to make it. And i need a good pics of the Tower of Paradise, the Phantom Lord Guild building and a few members of Phantom Lord.
