The YCM Yearbook of 2009

as voted in the poll

LAYOUT

(up for changes)

-People

-Forum life

("several pages are often used for chronicling activities and other special events")

-Academics/education could be a recap of staff changes

-Organizations

("This section describes organizations (sometimes referred to as clubs) and what they do. These descriptions are often accompanied by a photo or photos of the organizations' members. This section sometimes includes a list of the members of each organization.")

-Advertising pages

The "people" part would be like a Year 12 yearbook. With "close and personal coverage of member personalities through profile questions", quotes, awards, and humorous light-hearted entertainment.

Frequently, seniors are polled to nominate their classmates for "superlatives" or "class celebrities" (such as "most likely to succeed," "most athletic," "most spirited" and "class clown").

The editorial team chooses questions for members to answer (such as "Favourite teacher?" or "Where will you be in 5 years time?") and these answers appear alongside member photos.

HELPERS

Sounds fine?

Post here if you want to be in it/help out or suggest something.

Ideas are welcome but not the uber-complicated ones please.:) Everyone's already running uber-complicated stuff with graphics and YCM histories. .__. Unless you can do moonrunes.

I dont get what WE as people do ?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yearbook

^like a real yearbook but with less technicalities

You get a part dedicated to you with "close and personal coverage of member personalities through profile questions" (quoted from there;))' date=' quotes, awards and humorous light-hearted entertainment.

The editorial team chooses questions for members to answer (such as "Favourite [s']teacher[/s] mod?" or "Where will you be in 5 years time?") and these answers appear alongside member photos.

Also, you can nominate and will also be nominated for "superlatives" or "forum celebrities" (such as "most likely to succeed," "most athletic," "most spirited" and "class clown"). On a forum it can be "funniest", "the guy-next-door", "best card pics", anything people associate with someone.

For the rest of the layout, "Forum life" (will just be a recap of activities that have been around in 2009), staff changes is obvious and in the advertising page where people can advertise their shops or something. But not everything will get in so one of us will be responsible for that part and pick stuff out.

As for the "Organizations" part it's mostly what we've done/are doing in Clubs. I guess we could put in the clubs who got the highest ratings and best interviews in the Club event? As a winner prize, plus something else. WHEN the ones Charizard and I have interviewed will reply so we can post some.
