Jace Beleren Posted January 8, 2010 Author Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 hello there everyonei've decided to make another new concept as i mentioned abovethose are the Dark fusion monsters I'd like to hear opinions and ideas from you all ^^ 1-The color of a Dark ritual monster card is dark pink or Purple, the level balls are dark synchro style. (need to hear your opinions about the color or the card) 2- They are monsters that can only be Dark Fusion summoned by sending a certain type monster (fiend or warrior.etc) with negative level and 1 positive level monster with a same type from your Graveyard 3- there effect should be powerful since they are Dark Fusion monsters 4- When a Dark fusion monster is sent to the graveyard, you must special summon the fusion metrials of the monster that used for a Dark fusion summon in face-up atk position, there effect is negated and their atk and def becomes 0. i will post examples later tonight now as I said above, your opinions, ideas are appreciated ^^ Link to comment

It would make Osiris-kun feel less lonely. 2) I like the part that you need monster Types to do the Fusion than specific monsters, but I think it'd make the Fusions way too playable to the point of broken. You may think it balances it out because of how Synchros work and the fact that a negative level monster is required but... it doesn't. 3) Not really. In fact, points 2) and 4) already make them sufficiently more powerful than Fusion monsters. Add enough support and they become broken. 4) No. The point of Fusion is investing Hand power to gain Field Control. It's pretty much a high-risk - high-reward strategy. By allowing you to Special Summon the Fusion materials back, even if you disable stats and effects, you greatly mitigate that risk while maintaining the profits. I'm not going to lie - I don't like the idea. But if you are going to make them, I strongly suggest you give those things I mentioned a thought. Link to comment

I'm not saying depending on a single card or not is bad, I'll let that up to you and I personally enjoy contact fusions more than polymerization fusions xD I suggest just getting 1 of them back instead of all. Also, when one of the materials is a Tuner, you can have a pretty powerful Deck that maybe shouldn't be. Another inconvenient that goes back to the "types" or "names" topic. i will post examples later tonight now as I said above, your opinions, ideas are appreciated ^^ I like the overall idea. Looks interesting and actually I would like to see a Dark Counterpart for all those game mechanics. More fun to work with. Synchros, Rituals, Fusions. Red is on the opposite end of the colour spectrum from Purple, but to make it dark it'd have to be a dark red, like blood-red or crimson. 2) I like the part that you need monster Types to do the Fusion than specific monsters, but I think it'd make the Fusions way too playable to the point of broken. You may think it balances it out because of how Synchros work and the fact that a negative level monster is required but... it doesn't. Perhaps make every monster have some sort of "Dark Material: listed as a Fusion-material, then the type of card needed. 3) Not really. I'm not going to lie - I don't like the idea. But if you are going to make them, I strongly suggest you give those things I mentioned a thought. I'm okay with it, but they'd better be damn good. You have two choices for this: 1) Make them Contact Fusions2) Give them a specific card and a Specific subtype of card for material. I think this could work, but tread carefully. Link to comment
