I mean, I've been in big chat rooms before and they get really old, really fast. "Oh but Mina" you may say knowing I hate being called Mina, "You could just... you know, NOT join the chat?" However I also know it does NOT take long for any thing like that to descend into chaos. Yeah, mods and all but... they can't be everywhere and where's there hundreds and hundreds of posts per minute on a chat it's difficult to keep track of who or what is being said. Did Crab Helmet just link to a porn site? I can't tell, because Chaos Pudding just linked to [some shock site]. Now let me apply the punishment and, oh would you look at that. Now Frunk and YCMaker are role playing out an erotic fanfiction... Annd... then all evidence of their crimes is wiped away in about 5 minutes, in a sea of comments, after it's already gone and been seen by the scores of 11 and 12 year olds that frequent YCM.
