MY AWESOMEST DECK

This deck has kept me at a 152 win streak without exaggeration. It just kicks so much ass it's not funny. Plenty of people I know won't duel me anymore becuase they say this deck is a cheat. I doesn't break any rules that I know of.

 

*Note* not all cards i used are for their efects, some are just beatdown fodder. It has 60 Cards

I's basically an Overwhelm Beatdown deck. Trust me. Once one of the wickeds gets out or Darkness Neosphere your opponent will be so screwed.

Deck Needs a single focus

 

Deck needs 40 cards

 

Bolded cards need to be taken out.

 

Do you play against small children or people with learning disabilities? it's ok if you do I just want to know, if you ran this against me or any of the people I know you'd be OTK'd faster than you can say "I didn't have enough time to tribute summon a wicked thing"

 

This deck definantly needs alot of work to be competitive. I don't care wether or not youv'e actually won 152 matches, the fact of the matter is that in any regional, or SJC, or in any local worth thier money, this deck would not top, or even get close.

(1) - Wow, not like every OTHER guy posting his first deck here hasn't said the EXACT SAME THING. Just because it wins against people you know doesn't mean that it's good, it just means the people you know suck.

 

(2) - Meaning they're completely useless. You don't have 'fodder' for beatdown, you have targets and you have searchers. Nothing else should be there.

 

(3) - The legal limit for this forum is 50 cards per deck.

 

(4) - You mean Swarm? This isn't swarm.

 

(5) - The Wickeds and Darkness Neosphere are your win condition? Then why do you only have one of each of them, and no way to get them to your hand quickly? Consistency please?

The only time it is understandable that someone is horrible at a children's card game is when they themselves are a little kid... There is no excuse when you are 16+... They deserve to be flamed if they can't figure it out or follow simple logic(i.e. Smaller decks are better).

First off the theme is funking fiends and i have entered fifteen local tounaments and not lost once. The four other duelist in my school are funking awesome and hard to beat. This deck kicks so much ass. The traps are well placed to stop attacks. The monsters are either high powered for beatdown or defensive to keep my ass alive. The spells allow me to trump my opponents in power or just funk with them. The wickeds are the trup cards, just one will guarantee the duel. Also, 40 cards isn't all that great. Did you ever think that 60 cards is well stacked, well prepared but hard to get the cards you need. conversely 40 cards get you the cards you need, but it's easier to deck out and your not as prepared.


i asure you my friend. I've been dueling since the game first came out. i have more than 25 tounament legal decks that all kick ass. Most are a basic 50 cards this is 60 and it has only lost a few times due to monster screwing. Also the deck types are Beatdown which this one is, burn, Deckout/stall, RFP, and Scramble. monsters with High atk are called beatdown fodder because that's what they do. I am no n00b if anything you are. Plus I don't let anyone dis my friend Cody.

(1)=Fiends are hardly a Theme, but if you want to stick with Fiends, then fine

 

(2)=your either lying, or the people at your tourney suck, go to a Regional, or an SJC, or a REAL tourney and then you'll see

 

(3)=They may be awesome people, but not awesome players

 

(4)=Most of the Traps you have are SEVERELY outclassed in everyway by simple, easy to get cards

 

(5)=Theres sucha thing as "Fissure" or "Smashing Ground" that destroy your "trump cards"

 

(6)=There is a reason no one in competive Yugioh uses the Wicked Gods, they require 3 tributes and in an actual competitive game, there will never be the targets

 

(7)=Less cards = higher chanec of getting cards you need, More cards = Less Chance. you will NEVER deck out at 40 cards, and if you do, you deserve to lose.

 

now look, I'm trying not to get cynical, but this deck is horrible, and needs serious work, I'd be willing to help you if you'd get your head out of your *** and listen to people who know what they are doing. I honestly don't care how many fake times youv'e won a tournament. Even if you did that doesn't change the fact that this deck has alot of issues.

Beatdown Fiend Deck, Beatdown Dino Deck, Beatdown/Scramble Dragon Deck, Scramble Spellcaster Deck, and Scrambe E-Hero Deck

Those are the best in my city and school. Everyone I duel is a decent player with deck far superior to structure decks. I don't see why you want to take out such bull s*** on me. Explain more clearly how you could beat me and maybe I'll take it to heart but if all your going to do is insult my deck and the people I duel that that just makes you a coward with no real power to back it up.

Fiends are not a theme as they do not work towards a goal... They are just a type in the game. A theme has to work towards a goal... Making your opponents lifepoints 0' date=' is not a theme either... How you go about doing that is a theme...[/b']

They are all either outclassed, suck, or are not being run in enough numbers to make a difference.

They are pretty much all weak as hell, hard to summon, slow as hell, shitty as hell, or don't work together in any way, shape, or form

 

The spells allow me to trump my opponents in power or just f*** with them.

 

Outside of Heavy Storm, Brain Control, and Soul Exchange, they all suck or are so outclassed that there is no point in running them.

 

The wickeds are the trup cards, just one will guarantee the duel.

 

The Wickeds suck... The only time they will guarantee a duel is when the people you face suck... If you want to build a deck around any card, you should usually run said card in three... You should also build the deck to at least support the win condition.

 

Also, 40 cards isn't all that great. Did you ever think that 60 cards is well stacked, well prepared but hard to get the cards you need.

 

If you can't get the cards you need, when you need them, your deck sucks... You can't be prepared for anything if you can't get the cards you need.

 

conversely 40 cards get you the cards you need, but it's easier to deck out and your not as prepared.

 

If your deck is built properly, You should never get close to decking out (Excluding Lightsworns)... Hell, your games will usually be over after 5-6 turns, much sooner in many cases.

Don't even BS about that sheet! I don't care If you think it's fake I gadamn won the godamn Bay park mall tournamet. Sure I live in Greenbay but for chirst sake that tounament has over 100 people in it. This deck is just fine. The traps are easy to get yes, but the effects they give slow down most other string monsters at least enough to make mine stronger.

First off no. If your opponent is any kind of competent they will fight back. Thusly the duel will eventually drag on and you will begin to deck out. Plus with more card I'm always prepare because just about any card in that deck can turn the duel around. Beatdown theme. Stall tactics or tableturning traps keep my monsters stronger. And Each wicked is a trup putting three of them all in a deck would be a waste of time. 1 of each get variety and wins in different ways

look, I'm not trying to insult you. but take a look at the bolded, Those are decks, but not "competetive decks."

 

In Regionals and SCJ you do 9-11 rounds of matches against the "Top Tier" decks of the meta. you'll face decks like

 

Blackwings decks that swarms up too 4-5 monters per turn, laying down punishing amounts of Damage in 1 mere turn, backed up by searchign cards like Black Whirlwind, Dark Eruption and the Power of Dark Armed Dragon

 

Lightsworns/Twilight decks that Mill thier own deck to the graveyard so by the second turn, they cna OTK with the field-clearing power of Judgment Dragon/Dark Armed Dragon/Various Synchro Monsters

 

Zombies a very consistant engine lets Zombies swarm with 4 Synchro Monsters per turn

 

the thing that all of these, and all competetive decks have in common is

 

Consistancy, which is the likely-hood of getting of a combo, this is increased by have 40 cards minimum, Draw Power, and Deck-Thinning/Searchers

 

and

 

Explosiveness, which is the strength of the deck. Yes the Wicked Gods are cool and big and neat, but the truth is cards like "Brionic, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" and "Mist Wurm" and other Synchros/Big monsters can destroy/get rid of them with barely any cost to the player

 

and

 

Advantage consider what all the cards you use do, Fissure is worth it because you use one cards to take out one card, but a card lik "Tribute to the Doomed is not" because you use 2 cards to get rid of 1

 

Half or Nothing is NOT worth it because your opponent can still choose to go through with the battle phase and is completly outclassed by Threatoning Roar or Waboku

 

I'm trying to help you, Iv'e been on the Regional Circuit for half a year now, and it's rough. I don;t care if youv'e won almost all your duels, go to a place like this, and you'll see 200 people with decks that would punish your deck

 

If you don't want my help thats fine, and if you ever wanted to challenge me, I go to CardKid in lancaster PA every Saturday, and am Going ot the Rockville Regional, and the Neew Jersey Shonen Jump later this year.

 

EDIT: use "Dandylion" or "Treeborn Frog" if you want good, fast Tribute Fodder

I'll agree with you that some of my monsters could be replaced with stronger ones. La jinn, Whiptail, Malice Doll, they could all be Archfiend Soldier or Opticlops or better. Level 4 Monsters with 1800-2000 attack is quite decent for beatdown decks. Problem is that you can't always come across them and you have to make do with waht you have.
